I'm thinking of adding on the REAS package but DH and I have no interest in dining at dinner at Palos. (Strange, I Know ;) ) Is it possible to change it to the Palo's tea instead?

BTW, I see that people who have booked the REAS package have been able to request their dining rotation. I know this is a very long shot, but could the CM (is it still Debbie?) help us get main dining with our 2 young kids? We've been waitlisted for months now and still haven't heard anything from our TA. It's getting very stressful for us and DH is thinking about cancelling the cruise if we don't get main seating :(

TIA

Unforunately, Debbie can't get you into a certain dining time, unless you're booked in a suite. You can also REQUEST your dining rotation, but again, it's only a request. We requested a certain dining rotation and table size (table for 4) and we got neither, and did have the REAS booked. Also, a note on the waitlist for main dining. DCL usually doesn't start moving people off the waitlist until about 30 days prior to sailing, well after the penalty period has begun. We were booked on another cruise before switching to one of the West Coast cruises (we have late dining) and were booked for late dining, with a waitlist for early dining. My TA informed me that DCL usually doesn't start working on the waitlist until about 30 days prior to sailing, at about the same time they begin printing that particular sailings documents. DCL does sometimes clear people for early dining prior to that time, but most of it happens during that 30 day window. I'm just letting you know this because while you still might get main dining, you might not find out before the penalty period starts, which means you'd cancel before knowing. Trust me, we have small kids (7 and 4 for our next sailing) and late dining will definately be a challenge. But with daily naps, at least quiet time in the cabin, and a snack around 4PM, my kids will most likely be fine. They are pretty adaptable, and I'm not too worried about it, I'll just deal. If it doesn't work out for them, we can either feed them earlier or have them eat with the clubs, it's not my ideal situation, but I'd adapt before cancelling.

I wanted to add that we did feel that even with a 6YO and 3YO on our last sailing that early dining was WAY TOO early. With all the activities and things to do on the ship, it always was such a drag to have to be back in the cabin by 5PM to get everyone bathed and dressed for dinner. We always felt rushed getting dressed for dinner, and sometimes wanted to "bag it" since we didn't feel like getting dressed at that time. Another DIS'er on the cruise with us had late dining, although her kids were older (10, 7,7) they LOVED late dining because they didn't have to rush to get dressed. They could even go to the show, and then get ready, they LOVED IT. Now, IMO early dining is the lesser of the two evils on DCL (though not by much) and we're going to give late dining a try on this one.

we had late sitting on our last cruise on R.C.it was only a three day cruise out of LA but at 8:30pm they are almost ready for bed not just sitting down to dinner I was not able to change it and was very bad I checked with TA to make sure we had main sitting on our disney cruise.
