REAS? Do you ALWAYS get your rotation

Just made my REAS reservations with Debbie. She really is fantastic.

Now I'm a little nervous. After spending all this time planning out which night to do Palo, etc., what happens if I don't get the dining rotation I requested???

Two questions:

1. Has anyone ever not received the dining rotation they requested when booking REAS?

2. Also, should we confirm our reservations closer to our sail date, or will that annoy DCL (Debbie)?

Yes and yes!

I booked REAS for our May cruise. I booked APL through Debbie but found a different rotation on our cards when we got on board. It wasn't a big deal. I just had to rush to Rockin' Bar D to have it changed. I would have been nice not to have to as that was one of the reasons I booked the package.

When I booked it, Debbie asked me to call before I left to confirm so I wouldn't worry about bothering her if I were you. I did forget to call her back so I can't really complain that I didn't get the rotation I asked for!

They will take your dining rotation rquest with the REAS, but they do not guarantee it. So it is possible that you will get a different rotation. If that happens just go to dining change requests as soon as you board to work on the changes.

Thanks for your replies. After all of the planning, it'd be nice to get your rotation. I've tried to change my table before when on board and have never had any luck, so I'd like to do what I can BEFORE I get on the ship. Thanks again!
