We were thinking of doing Palo's on the last night (Friday), but since there is no room service on Saturday morning would we be able to have our special breakfast on a different day, or if we would be out of luck?

We ate at Palo's on Wednesday, and had our special breakfast on Friday (Castaway Cay) That worked out very well for us.

breakfast does not have to be the morning after your Palo ressie ... breakfast can be any day of your cruise that room service is offered (so all but the last morning).

But isn't part of the romantic turn down service that you get to order breakfast off an expanded menu ? Would we get to do that before Palo's ?

You do get an expanded menu for breakfast but it does not have to be after Palo. We did our breakfast the day before we went to Palo. Only restriction on breakfast is not the last morning.

When you first get to your stateroom, you will find a menu that you will hang on your door knob the night before you would like the breakfast. You pick the time that you would like it delivered. It can be, like said above, on any morning of your cruise, except disembarkation day.

I am thinking of doing the REAS package too - a friend told me not to get the breakfast after Palo's - since you will still be stuffed from eating so much the night before ;)

I have heard that most couples w/out kids tend to get it on a "at sea" day and they can relax and have breakfast/champagne in bed. I have also heard they bring so much food - as much as you want so lots of couples with kids get it on a port day so they can get ready and eat without running all over the place for breakfast before getting off the ship. So it really depends on what day you think you would want a big breakfast in the morning.

What I want to know is - do they bring it on a wheeled table - cause really there aren't any chairs in the room - right? So you really are limited to having it on the bed or couch - unless you have a verandah - right?
Hey, since I am poor and can't afford a verandah can I wheel it out to the AFT deck and lock the door :rotfl2:

Has anyone ever scheduled a REAS champagne breakfast & then later found out that their character breakfast is on the same day?

suzanne - dont know if this will help you or not - but are you aware that the table in front of the couch can be lifted higher? it makes it quite nice to eat the breakfast :)
