really stupid CBR ?

Ok this is going to sound really stupid but how do you check in at the CBR? what I mean is do you park in a parking lot and then walk in or is there a pull in cover where you unload your bags and a bellhop takes them to your room? I know this sounds stupid but as you can see we're leaving any day now and I'm finding things to worry about. This is our first Family vacation EVER to ANYWHERE!

You can have the bellman take the luggage outside the Custom House (check-in building) and then deliver them to your room later. They expect a tip when the luggage is delivered ($1 to $2 a bag). Best thing to do if you don't have a car.

I've stayed there 3 times and 2 of the times had a rental car. If you have a car, I think it's easier to leave the luggage in the car, park outside the Custom House (it has its own lot), check-in and if the room's ready, drive to your building's parking lot and take the luggage to your room yourself.

The Customs House is separate from the CBR villages. As DebbieB mentioned it is easier if you have a car but if you don't when you pull up in front in a limo, etc. they can take your luggage and deliver it to your room.

Don't forget to tip.

It seems like you know the most about the CBR - I know the two preferred buildings are trinadad north and martinique, but my questions is - in your opinion, which is the better location? I have a group of 8 total ranging from 5 months - 50 yrs, and we don't want to have to walk too much to the food court, ect... Thanks alot.

Martinique is probably the closest. Neither is a bad walk. We have stayed many times at both locations and it isn't bad from either of them.
