Really strange what if scenario

We will absolutely get travel insurance. My dad doesn't drive but can get to multiple nyc airports. That didn't help him l weekend though. Maybe I will move my DH over. Is it a pain to get extra card/change the room charging?
I do realize that it is a year away but it hadn't even crossed my mind until this debacle with multiple airlines this weekend.

So easy to get extra card. It won’t have any info on it - just blank. Maybe only good for opening door? (Someone else here will confirm or say otherwise).

It would be a lot easier than trying to fix the problem if Dad doesn’t get there.

If you do this reassignment in your reservation, you will have the option to put DH’s charges on his credit card, not Dad’s. And it won’t matter when everything works out and Dad has a smooth flight.
