Really strange survey question

Taking a survey about our latest WDW trip and the MM+ program and near the end they asked me this question:

For classification purposes, which of the following best describes your room?
There was a refrigerator in the room and it was plugged in and running
There was a refrigerator in the room, but we were asked not to use it
There was no refrigerator in the room

:confused3:lmao:

that was on a survey I took after our September visit.

I think it's because they had to replace ALL of the refrigerators in the resorts after discovering there was a defect in the refrigerators. They either pulled them, or unplugged them with a sign about not using them (until they could get them picked up from the resort...it took awhile to pull them all because it was thousands of refrigerators.) And then it took a long time to get them all replaced...again, imagine that purchase order: who has 50,000 hotel-room refrigerators that will all fit in Disney's room dresser/fridge cubby specifications just sitting in a warehouse, ready to go? I know when we were at POFQ in September, our room did not have a fridge, but there was a note saying to call the front desk if we had medical needs for a fridge. I recently read that POFQ now has all room fridges in place.

I suspect they were using the survey question as way to keep track of how that situation was impacting guests. Maybe if you complained a lot about your room and/or stay...and had no refrigerator they were using that as a "reason" to discount your dissatisfaction. Suits have been known to come up with that kind of reasoning. Used to be in management at a big company...experienced that kind of silliness RE:survey questions:woohoo:
