Really Silly DDP Question

Ok, I know this is a silly/stupid question, but we've never used the DDP before. We got the free DDP and upgraded to the DxDDP for our next trip. My question is, do you have to tell them ahead of time that you are using a DDP at QS and snack locations? I know they ask you before you order at TS restaurants, but I've never been asked at any other venue before if I'm using a DDP or not. We are eaters (I have a very high metabolism and when i go more than 2-3 hours without a snack I get super cranky and shaky), so we end up eating three meals a day, and multiple snacks. I just don't want to use up all of our snack credits too quick, especially when all I wanted to do was get a bottle of water with my magic band and charge the room. Also want to make sure at lunch that if I'm supposed to tell a QS location I have a DDP that I do it, and not just assume it'll get taken care of because it's on my account. Did this make sense? I apologize if it didn't lol

Especially if you DON'T want them to use any of your credits, you need to say so. If you say nothing, they will probably use your credits. I would be clear either way.

I'll have to make sure I make a point of saying how I'm paying for sure I guess!! It's nice to know all my meals and most of my snacks are covered, but all the fine details are just a tad stressful (probably why we've never done a DDP before to be honest).

It's not as stressful as it sounds. It's just a payment method, like using cash or credit card - you just tell them to use credits when you want to use them, and you get a receipt for those items reset to $0.00 and a count of your remaining credits.

I think it's just because it's different to how I normally do things tbh. Normally we just have it linked to our room and just pay, so we don't really think about credits or using or not using them. We just know we're paying for stuff and on to our room bill it goes. I'll get used to the idea, and I know it'll be fine, I just get anxiety when it comes to new stuff.
