Why? Obviously they don't need to discount those TPV rooms to fill them up.

Because FQ also gets booked very quickly as well, and even they're in the promotion. I think I even read that LM are included in one, if not both, of the promotions as well. No problem filling those rooms either. So why exclude just the Contemporary?

The LM rooms are excluded from the package promotion, and the AoA suites are eligible for a 15% room-only discount.

The Contemporary isn't excluded from the promotions - perhaps certain rooms, yes, but not the whole resort.

I wonder how many people ill move their ressie over to the GF or Poly TPV rooms to get the discount as my TA told me it would've saved me more $$ to move over. Under different circumstances I would've grabbed it in a heartbeat.

Little Mermaid rooms are excluded - only the family suites are included for the discount.

It stinks that the contemporary TP views are excluded, but it is what it is. Disney puts out discounts for what they need, not what we need. Everyone is welcome to change their reservation around to receive the discount with what is allowed.

The TPV rooms are often excluded in Nov 2011 I was booked at CR in TPV room but when the dscounts came out they were only offering 5% there so I moved over to BWI with 30%. Like people said TPV sells out without them offering a discount.

I had a reservation for a Tower Park View at CR but changed my reservation to a Studio Lake View at BLT to take advantage of the discount....It saved me $1,700 so it was kinda hard to pass up.

We just really love CR Tower Park View rooms....they're amazing!!!! I hope I'm not disappointed.

Just thought it was funny you referred it to that. Especially since you've stayed there so many times. If you prefer to call it a Tower Park View (which makes no sense) go for it!

It's in the tower...it's a view of the park...pretty self explanatory...but what really makes no sense is the need to "correct" me on something as trivial as this.

Sure wish I could hop in a time machine and go back to the 5 minutes where I thought you were trying to reassure me of the BLT view I got....and to avoid any further confusion...BLT = Bay Lake Towers....not bacon lettuce tomato

Obviously availability is pretty fluid, but when I called yesterday for dates in mid January, MK view at CR was available with the disney visa room only discount (no idea about the package offer). Lake view was not, however.
