Hi all,
I'm accepting John's challenge to start a new thread, and I must say that I'm forcing myself out of my "lurker" comfort zone!

I'm wondering if anyone else has had an issue ordering the customized maps offered on the Disney Web Site. I can get through the form until I get to the point where my shipping information is supposed to go through and then I get a message saying that a system error has occurred.

I know that it isn't unusual to have issues with the Disney website, but I have been trying for quite a while now to order these maps! Am I the only one having this problem or have others encountered it too?

I just finally got my maps about 2 weeks ago. I had issues with the website too. (Shocking!) My problem though was that I couldn't get to the page to enter my information. I also got an error message. I was relatively sure it wasn't my computer, but I was over at my parents house one night and decided to try ordering the maps from their computer. My order went through fine and I had no issues. I don't know if it was because it was late at night and not as much traffic or something to do with using a different computer, but it worked. :confused3 I hope this helps, but with a Disney website you just never know!
 
Unfortunately, these are currently only available to US residences. Us Canadians are left out in the cold. :)

Last time I ordered maps was a while ago, so I wish I could help... I might have to go and brave the website and see what I come up with... what a challenge!!! :thumbsup2

I got responses to my thread! Yippee! :cool1: Thank you all for the warm welcome.

I guess I should be grateful that the Disney site isn't locking up on me. I tried 3 more times last night, and I've tried from different computers in our home. Maybe I'll give ordering from my parents house a try! :thumbsup2
 
The Disney Web site Drives me Crazy.

I have not ordered maps but I will give it a try and see how it goes!
 
I tried awhile ago to do this and I had trouble as well. It wouldn't let me place the points of interest I wanted on there. I wanted to get a map for my sister as part of her vacation. I was goin to put together a packet for her and make it really special. I haven't been back there for a while but..I will try again to see if it's working!!

Welcome to the DIS!! This group of people is probably the best group on here..The DISunplugged group!! They are EXTREMELY helpful as well as very sweet!! You'll have fun here!!!:goodvibes

Last week I couldn't get mine ordered. I tried 3 times and decided to wait a week or so before trying again.

It also took me 2 tries to make a payment to my package so I figured their website was acting up again.
