Hi,

I really don't know much about DD. A friend recommended Fulton's Crab House, while another recommended T-Rex or the Rainforest Cafe. Someone else mentioned Raglan Road. The one time we were there we ate at Wolfgang Puck Express, which was very good. We will have our three little girls with us, ages 8, 6, and 3.

Ideally, I'd like to make reservations at a child friendly place with good food that isn't outrageously expensive. Is that too much to ask? Probably. We don't have timid tastes really, and we do appreciate good food (but who doesn't!). Since I have received wonderful help planning our trip from these boards, I am hoping for some suggestiosn.

I would go with WPE. Rainforest & T-Rex are too busy & loud for our family to really enjoy. Fultons might be a bit too grown up for the kids. Not sure about Raglan Road since we haven't eaten there yet. Portobello's has great food, but might also be too grown up for the kids.

I love Raglan Road-- the food has always been great every time I've gone.

With the ages of your kids, I think Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex would both be excellent choices. Maybe even Planet Hollywood.

Our favorites at DTD are Earl of Sandwich, Raglan Road (bread pudding is TO DIE FOR!!) and Wolfgang Puck Express (if you're on the DDP, this is an EXCELLENT use of a CS credit!!) The entertainment at Ragland Road is great too.

If you enjoyed WPE why no try Wolfgang Puck Cafe. I think the menu looks great for both adults and children. We have it on our list for next trip because we like WPE so much.

For some reason I thought the regular Wolfgan Puck Restaurant was really expensive, but I looked at the menu, and it's seems OK. Maybe I will try it. I was also considering House of Blues (mainly b/c I think my dad would like it) but I am not sure how it is. There aren't any reservations available for T-Rex of Rainforest, so those are out....

Well, I made reservations for Raglan Road and HOB, and for our third choice, we're going to do WPE. I am excited to try these places. Thanks for all of the input!:)

We really like HOB also. We've never had a bad meal there. Our meal @ RR was horrible, but we'll give it another try some day. It's been a while, since we ate at WPC, so I can't really offer an opinion on it. We think the food at T-Rex is a little better than at RFC, but your girls would probably love either of them. T-Rex & RFC both serve very large portions, so it's easy to share. If you prefer one of those, you can probably get a reservation by calling them directly. They only open up a few of their reservations to WDW's ADR system. What you see online usually isn't indicative of what is available, if you call them directly. Based on food alone, HOB would be my choice though.

Even though it's not a table service restaurant and a counter service location, I would highly recommend going to Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney Marketplace.

RFC and TREX are fun for the atmosphere. The food is just average. WPE and EoS are wonderful choices. The food is great at both.

We really enjoyed Paradiso 37. We went for an early dinner with our two kids, ages 1 and 2 1/2 at the time. It was child friendly enough for us and the food was excellent. I think we go there for 5pm so the place was still retty empty and we were seated and served fast which is always good when you have the kids with you.

My kids are 11, 8 and 5 and they really enjoyed Planet Hollywood. Our food was excellent and there is lots of stuff for the kids to look at. We were an hour late for our ADR because of a late flight and they were able to seat us right away.

We had a bad experience at Raglan Road, missed one of our orders and undercooked salmon. Go to House of Blues

We love RR! I agree with this statement though.

We were very disappointed with our meal at Wolfgang Puck Cafe last year. We ate at WPE express twice and preferred both our meals there.

I would recommend Raglan Road.
