Really need Downtown Disney suggestions. :-)

If you decide to go to House of Blues, make sure you check Restaurant.com for certificates (and search at retailmenot.com for coupon codes). You can probably get a $25 certificate for a couple of bucks when restaurant.com is running a sale.

We've never eaten there, but I've heard from other people that it is pretty good so we're going to give it a try this year. I ended up with a $50 Restaurant.com gift certificate from Mobil (check this out if you have their credit card) so I cashed it in for House of Blues.

We were very disappointed with our meal at Wolfgang Puck Cafe last year. We ate at WPE express twice and preferred both our meals there.

We were looking at one of the "you are here" maps last trip when a security guard asked if he could help us find something. We told him we were deciding which WP restaurant to go to and he said WPE was better. We went with his suggestion and were glad we did. In fact, we had both lunch & dinner there that same day!

Even though it's not a table service restaurant and a counter service location, I would highly recommend going to Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney Marketplace.

I second this. Love Earl of Sandwich! :)

We also love Raglan Road. We've eaten there 5+ times and have never had a bad meal there. :goodvibes

I have been to Raglan Road a few times including this past Saturday and the food has been very good. If you do have kids though T Rex or RFC may be a better choice. The food is good and they would probably like the atmosphere alot better then Raglan.

We've eaten at Portobello twice (with kids) and had fantastic meals both times.

We will never ever ever eat at Wolfgang Puck Cafe again - all 4 of our meals were horrible.

We love Earl of Sandwich for counter service.

Thanks everyone! I made reservations for Raglan Road and HOB, and then I think we'll eat at WPE for the third night. Still trying to figure out how to fit in Earl of Sandwich at some point! Maybe the first day we get there, we'll swing by for lunch. I really want to try it. I appreciate all of the suggestions. Can't wait to eat!!!! :goodvibes

Raglan Road has the best fish & chips on property, in my opinion. Some of the best I have ever eaten.

Rainforest could be too scary for your 3 year old. We have one at the Mall of America and my 3 year old daughter made it 5 minutes before there was a thunderstorm and the gorillas started making tons of noise and we had to leave. I would imagine T Rex would be scary too, but I don't have personal experience with that.

After having more than one bad experience at our former fav, WP (service and food)...we were open to new experiences. At that time it just so happened that a new place opened on PI called Paradiso 37. One poster already mentioned them but I have to say it is now one of favorite restaurants not just in DTD but in all of WDW. The service is great and consistently so and so is the food.:thumbsup2

I can't say I absolutely love their live music. It's a little too folky for me but I'm sure many people enjoy it.

We've always made ADRs just in case and good thing we did when we were there a week ago as they were quoting 1-1 1/2 hr wait times for walk-ins. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes (which was probably the shortest wait our whole trip even with ADRs).

I have a full review with photos on my dining review website if you'd like to check it out. The latest I hear is that they accept the DDP and they just started to take the TIW which is a definite plus for us. The did have the AP discount as well which we used in the past but the TIW discount is better.:goodvibes
