We leave June 14 for the Fort, although I will be in Orlando for a Microsoft Conference June 8-13 (10,000 geeks under one roof at the Orange County Convention Center).
We took the motorhome in for service this past weekend to our dealer (Gayle Kline Rv near Lancaster, PA) - state inspection, check out the generator and fix the black water valve on the holding tank. Total cost of service will be less than $300, and that includes a new valve, new deep cycle battery and oil change for the genny, and state inspection.
I'm here to tell ya folks, there is nothing quite like emptying your holding tank when you don't know that the dump valve is stuck OPEN. Luckily, we were at a dumping station (Flying J) and not a campsite, I was wearing gloves and I had the hose right under the outlet when I took the cover off.
YEEEEEUCK!!!
But, now that all that is being taken care of, only 104 days until we leave.
