Sorry I really just have to vent.
There has been an error with my DVC AP I purchased on my last trip in April. I linked it when I got home. As people started testing magic bands I decided to explore the site a little more in July. I noticed that it shows my DVC AP under tickets on the reservations page, but when I click on the view details it says expired June 29th 2012???
I called and inquired about it. The looked and took my pass #.Said no its shows it expires April 2014 as it should. If I look at the magic card on the site it is right, but not on the page where reservations are and ticket info. I explained this to them and they sent it forward to be looked at. I got a call a few days later saying everything was OK.
Well, I then get offered to test Magic bands during the AKV portion of my trip . I was so excited. I ordered our bands , no problem. But then went to look at the fast pass + area to play around it popped up needs valid park admission. I immediately call and and go through the whole thing again. Spent a very long time again on the phone, they said they would have to send it over to their tech dept for further review again and I should hear back from them. Did not. so a week later I called again they couldn't find any info I had called a week earlier. Started all over AGAIN.
This time they did figure out for some reason there are 2 different #'s in my account one the valid one and one that isn't?? Said the other would have to be removed and was sending to tech again. Now its been alomost another week and they said yes,they see I am in line but they don't know when they will get to it. I leave in 3 days!!!
I am meeting my husband who is working out of the country for a belated anniversary trip. We have not been alone at WDW without kids or friends/family since we honeymooned there in 1989. They told me if not fixed before I go I can go to the resort concierge or guest services. I do not want to waste valuable vacation time doing this, but was really hoping to utilize the fast pass + options. I have been trying to get this resoved since mid-July. I understand that this is all new and tech glitches happen I just really thought they would have been able to sort it out by now.
I refuse to let this interfere with trip and thats why I am venting and getting all my grumpiness out now!! I'm going to WDW in 3 days for a week and very excited about it!
