The lack of options has pushed us outside of our usual. I have checked out the menus and read reviews and am really excited about the out of the box (for us) restaurants we booked. Actually the only place we have not been to is Trattoria, saw a great review and added it before our Seaworld trip, it's a perfect fit for our day. Would love to hear your experience if you were "pushed" to a restaurant you would not have booked if your fav's were available.

Lunch Tiffins - not a fav but good recent reviews caught my eye and concern about not getting a table at Nomads (our fav)

Interesting. You're the first report of them being good about it. Most have not been complimentary unless you want a salad.

Some great choices for the limited places open. I am hoping by my trip in Feb that more will be open.

Maybe it boils down to the luck of the draw on who you talk to. She has (and was encouraged to) talk to the chef all three times and had amazing results. The last time was in the Detroit area and she came home and went on and on about how awesome and fresh it was. The previous two time were in WDW and were also very good. We are really picky, we grow most of our own veggies in the growing season and buy organic the rest of the year. We very rarely go to restaurants because of the concern about being contaminated (plus we are way better cooks then most of the corporate restaurant options). I would encourage you to give them a try but completely understand if you prefer not to, who wants to waste an entire day or more of feeling like C&!$ when you are vacation (or ever).

I have to say the food and the options this trip were horrible. My family is more about food than the parks. So it was a complete letdown from the moment we got here. I ate a sub at Firehouse subs on day one. Breakfast in cardboard boxes. That’s if you have a hotel with an open food court. No toaster. No bagels or bread. No bakery items to browse. Dinner was not much better. Be Our Guest raised their price to 62.00 a person!!!! Heck no! We ate at T-Rex. Yuck! Off property wait times were extremely long. The best meal the whole trip was when we went to Tampa for the day. I will definitely wait to come back again. Not being able to drink a pop and eat a pretzel as you walk is not fun. Watching the police called in because a hotel guest won’t put his mask over his nose is not the Disney Experience I want to pay thousands for. Being questioned and followed at every turn is not the way I want to vacation. Hopefully Disney will get better!

Looks like a good line up...waiting to see what opens up for our March trip. Have never tried Skipper's Canteen might be a MK try this trip.

We saw that about BOG, I thought it was really ridiculous, but hey if they can get that price good for them, no thank you we will pass. What hotel were you at when they called the police. That surprises, it sounds like while mask coverage is good there are plenty of incidences of unchecked nose peaks. Maybe there were other issues besides the naked nose. We are staying in a two bdrm, If the food is that horrid we can make our meals at the villa. We actually had thought about looking up some offsite restaurants when I 1st saw the limited choices and menus but then I filled up our week :). Thanks appreciate the warning.

We'll be back in April so I am hoping for more options too. If not we may explore Swan/Dolphin. I have heard some good things coming out of there and it's a convenient walk from BWV.

We really liked Coral Reef and Trattoria al Forno (breakfast). It was our first time at both. I love Tiffin's, but they don't have anything for our picky son at lunch. We did Yak & Yeti for the first time, and it was pretty good. We love Skipper Canteen. I don't really like Sci-Fi that much; I think the food is kind of meh and a party of 3 is weird in the cars. We like Mama Melrose; I was bummed that they didn't have the mushroom flatbread though.

The incident was at The Wilderness Lodge. I have been eating off property more than I ever have. I still hope you have a wonderful time. My family is really about food. So this has been a problem for us.
