Really dumb question about the Disboards

Ok, I just want to preface this question by saying this is not important, I am not mad or upset, just curious. How do you get the title of DIS Veteran? I thought it would happen when I hit 1,000 posts, but I'm still a Mousketeer. And then I notice other people who are under 1,000 posts who are DIS Veterans. Is it length of time since you became a member? Like I said, it's no biggie, just wondering!

Hmm...no clue...! I am not a Veteran or a Mouseketeer. Maybe when you get a few more TAGS from the Tag Fairy the Mouseketeer will no longer be there?

Back in the early days, it was only 75 posts.

You might be able to change it yourself in your User CP. Try going into "User CP" and click on "Edit Details" then put whatever you want in "Custom User Title."

If that doesn't work, ask over on the tech boards. You have to be a vet by now.

I'm afraid I'll lose my tag! I know of people who have messed with their User CP and lost it. It's my one and only precious tag!

It might be my eyes or my laptop, but your custom tag looks like you did it yourself. It's not in color (I think) and it's not scrolling, so you could type the same words there yourself, and it would look the same.

It's purple. And not all tags scroll. I really don't want to lose it. I'll just stay a Mousketeer!

My "I feel exposed if I am not covered" is an official tag, and it doesn't scroll.

Megs, most official tags don't scroll. I mentioned the scrolling and coloring because those are two things that you can't do by yourself.

OP, ask on the Tech board. They're nice people over there. If it was some kind of glitch that you didn't go to vet yet, they'll fix it for you.
