Really Dumb Poly Question

I believe the alarm clock is a setting on the clock/radio in the room at the POLY. I have an alarm on my cell phone so I don't use the one in the room.

FWIW,

not sure about POLY but SSR had the exact same clock radio alarm that my DH uses at home so easy to figure out! I would imagine Dsiney buys these things in bulk??? It was a small sony thing.

There are alarm clocks. My dh not only had a wake up call but had set the alarm. He didn't wake up for either:confused3

Why would you think the Polynesian wouldn't have an alarm clock in the rooms? So much misinformation on these boards!!

The Polynesian is a HOTEL. I have never stayed in a hotel that didn't have an alarm clock in the room. But at the Polynesian, forget the alarm and get the wake-up call. It is a fun way to start the day!:goodvibes

Do they have alarm clocks?

They do have an alarm clock. I just never use it. I like the suggestion of the above poster, why bother when you can have a character like Mickey Mouse do a wake up call. We do that for my son and daughter when we need that service.

It is not that there is misinformation on these boards it is just that I was shopping for travel items last night and didn't know if I needed to get a small clock. Yes, I know the Poly is a hotel but you never know!!

Hi by the way - didn't know you were over here?

Not a dumb question at all - we usually just get a wake up call - but I think all the hotels have an alarm clock at WDW.

We just booked yesterday we are taking DD End of Sept in 2008 - and were going to stay at the AKL but my parents are coming too and when we went to book my parents decided to surprise us and upgrade us to the Poly!
