Really dumb Mac question

How do you UNinstall a program. I can do it in Windows but can't figure it out on the Mac.

Do I just drag it to the trash? Is it really that simple?

Thats all I do. Just do a search on the hard drive to make sure you get all the files and drag them to the trash and then empty. I usually will do a secure empty so it gets rid of the files totally.

yes, it really is that easy.
Make sure you are actually going into the Hard Drive and dragging the actual file to the trash, rather than just an alias (like a link on your desktop).
