Really depressed now.....

Well, after several months of trying to sell DVC on our own, and not seeing much activity at all, we decided to go with a broker today. We went back and forth for months over whether or not to actually sell....it was easier to justify keeping DVC when no one was biting on the listing. But....other obligations just keep looming bigger and bigger, and we have to finally let go. I'm hoping it won't be forever, and it certainly doesn't mean we can't ever go to Disney again. We've just been soooo spoiled by our DVC vacations....I'm gonna miss those 2 bedroom accommodations!

Yes it does stink to have to live in the real world and take care of everyday llife.

However we will still be here with DVC or not.

Awww...thanks for the kind words everyone. Isn't it silly to be so upset over a piece of property...? And what's worse is it's property none of even really "own"....LOL!!!

As a family, we really enjoy our Disney vacations, so I doubt this setback will put an end to them. We just may have to bite the bullet and stay in regular onsite rooms for a couple of trips {oh the crowded-ness of it all!!}

Selling the contract, which we use for 1 week out of the year right now, will help to alleviate the financial stress we are currently feeling for the other 51 weeks. It's all worth it in the end.

You are wise Sammy. Most would hold onto their DVC regardless of how bad they feel the other 51 weeks.

Please stay with the DVC board. You contribute a lot and are still part of the family no matter where you vacation!
