I bought the 20 questions ball at Walmart yesterday after doing the in packaging trial. It cost $9.84 and is worth every penny. It's about the size of a yo yo, really lightweight and my family is fascinated with it. You think of any everyday object and then press go. The toy asks you 20 yes or no questions which you answer by pressing the buttons and then it makes a guess. We've been trying to resist playing with it until we leave on Monday, but my HUSBAND keeps sneaking it out of the bag and trying it. So far the darn thing has guessed everything we've thought of including Okra, Moose, Salt, Zinnia, Hamster and a few other things. It is uncanny the way it figures it out. My ten year old daughter is dying to get her hands on it. I plan on throwing this in my backpack to play during wait times in lines and while waiting for dinner, etc. It's easy to carry and we all can play together. It's also semi educational because we keep talking about the various attributes of the objects and I've realized my daughter is learning some new vocabulary and some deduction/logic. It's in the toy department and definately worth a try!

Best $10.00 I ever spent. We bought one for my son and everyone loves it. Anyone who tries it goes out and buys one for themselves. It is absolutely amazing how many times it guesses what you are thinking!!!!

I have to look for that - unfortunately we aren't going to Disney this year but we are going on a Loooong Trip to Colorado to see family.

My oldest is very self occupied and has no problem, reading, gameboy etc but my youngest likes to be up and around and has more trouble keeping entertained in the car/air. This sounds perfect for her - thanks again.

My Dparents bought one for DD7, but they liked it so much that they kept it! :rotfl: So, I got her one and it is addictive. DH and I are reaching for it a lot! :p It's amazing the items it can guess--and even when it misses, it's always close. Great toy, great price!

Thanks for the heads up! Sounds like a great purchase & will look for it this week. We've got 3 road trips planned this year so we need all the help for car entertainment we can get!

Too funny about the grandparents keeping it! May be a good gift for the FIL that has everything for Dad's Day!

I wonder how much the other people on the plane would hate me for it LOL

The Chicago Tribune did a piece on this today - they put in Sears Tower, and the Q guessed Skyscaper... very positive discussions on this!! The inventor talked about watching people at the store play with it, then put more than one in their shopping cart!!

I've seen this and thought about getting it. Now I definitely will :)

The other people won't hate you. It has a silent button... So other than the discussion among your family about answers to the questions (Is okra smooth??) It won't be a problem

Thanks for the tip. I will buy one for our drive to Disney!!! Anything to keep the boys busy! :moped:

My cousin had one of these at Christmas-time and it is amazing how it comes up with the correct answers! I had forgotten about it till now.
