Really cool sibling names

A knew a family who named two of their girls Harmony and Melody. They are a very musical family, singing at festivals and such, so I thought these names were both fitting and beautiful.

Okay, I'll bite. How does one pronounce "Maile"? I see it and think of what the postal carrier brings Mon.-Sat., but I'm guessing there's more to the story.

It's pronounced "My-lee". My brother and sister-in-law named their daughter after their obstetrician. It's a Hawaiian name.

My daughters names are Alexandria and Katherine but we call them Allie and Katie. Didn't even realize I was naming my kids after a tv show "Kate and Allie" until my youngest was about six months old!!

My BIL's siblings are all "J" names: Jeremy, Jordan, Jalisa, Jared, and Jarod. I also have 2 sets of cousins with rhyming names: Lori and Corey (not twins) and Sharlene and Marlene(twins)

Aren't those the same name? I've seen many variations of Jared, but they're always pronounced the same.


I know someone with a Payton and Paxton. The sounds are fairly easy to distinguish between the two names, but they're just one letter off.
