Really confused over tickets

If you purchase the base ticket for 5 days and then add on the water park/extra option it gives you 3-4 admissions to the water park, disney quest, etc. Don't you have to use those options on one of the 5 days or are you getting 5 days in the 4 major them parks plus 3-4 admissions any time during the 14 day expiration period at the extras?

I'm so very confused....

You can use them on the same day that you go to a park or just make a day a plus day. That day you could go to a water park. So you could go to a park for 5 days and other places for 3 days so you have 8 days you can do something.

You don't need the Hopper option unless you want to go to two or more of the Big Four parks in one day. If you want to go to Blizzard Beach after AK, that's fine and you'll just use one park day and one option. If you want to go to AK, then Disney Quest, then Blizzard Beach, that would be one park day plus two options.

Thanks for the help. Trying to decide our best option for tickets this year. DS wants to do Sea World but I'm leaning more toward adding the plus option, it would be cheaper the SW tickets and include so much more. He's such an animal lover though and I'm such a sucker, we'll probably try to squeeze it all in.

If it's animals that will make the difference, there are animals at AK, including the safari ride, along the trails, and at the petting zoo. Then there's the EPCOT Living Sea exhibit. It's not Sea World, but it might do for him at this age???

We will definately do AK, that is his favorite park of the four.......and we usually go through the Living Sea but last year the manatees were off exhibit and there wasn't a whole lot to do. He really wants to see Shamu (?sp) etc. Maybe I'll wait and see what the weather is like when we get there. We had one day of rain last March and it was cold so that would be a good day to use a plus option to go to Disney Quest........so many decisions...............
