really concerned

have reserved room for one night at wyndham palace through entertainment book rate. this will be last night of vacation, " 3 nights at royal pacific resort " wanted to do pleasure island with my older teens . after reading revues of this hotel i'm not sure now.is the location worth it ? is the hotel really as bad as some of the revues say it is ? someone please give me some hope.

Reviews on this hotel are strange..many really like it and many dont..some say its ok. I guess it depends on what you are looking for and what you are paying.

How much is the Ent. Book rate and could you do better?

99.00 per night plus tax, plus resort fee. wanted something nice and close to downtown disney.

Thats not a bad rate but you could probably get it cheaper on Priceline or Hotwire..

For the rate of $99 and the location across from Downtown Disney (which is where you want to go) the Wyndham is probably a pretty good choice. I've stayed there a couple of times, the most recent probably 5-6 years ago, so I really can't comment much on the rooms, service, etc. Unless the decorating has been updated I have always found it a bit cold with not much of the Disney spirit, more like a hotel in a big city than a Disney oriented resort. That said, if my main purpose was to go to Pleasure Island and did not want to worry about driving anywhere or parking, for $99 the Wyndham would work. Also, you might get a room with a balcony and a nice DTD/Disney view.

One other thing, almost across the street from the Wyndham is the pathway to Saratoga Springs Resort, can walk over there and take in the sites at this new resort if you have the time.
