Really concerned about the cleanliness of RPR rooms

We were just at Royal Pacific last week. Rooms were very clean. I thought they were nicer then Disney rooms!

I'm so relieved to hear the good reports. We leave on Tuesday and cannot wait!

Okay, take it from me: I've worked in numerous hotels in different cities and I have also stayed in many hotels in different cities. There is no such thing as a hotel that will NOT get bad reviews about cleanliness. Especially on TripAdvisor. As a former hospitality management student, all of my professors as well as employers always told us that people who have a bad experience, even just one tiny bad experience, are six times more likely to pass on the word, including writing on TA or other websites, than they are to if they have a great experience. I stalk T.A. like no other with all the hotels I've worked at, and have stayed at and you will never find a hotel that won't have bad housekeeping reviews. I'm not saying that loews hotels prides themselves on dirty rooms...not at all. You shouldn't be concerned.

Also, the pet rooms are strictly located on the first floor of the second tower.

We are arriving on May 22nd but will be on Club level so there shouldn't have been any pets on that floor...right??

You'll find that RPH prides itself on cleanliness and friendly staff.

If you ever have an issue while staying there, call star service or let the front desk be aware of your problem.

All things will be corrected and made right for you.

I don't know why so many negative things are listed on Trip Advisor.
Some people can never be pleased.

I know you will have a great stay at that hotel.

We stayed at the RPR for 5 nights from Feb 28th to March 5th. We were in tower 1 with a room on the first floor and could see the kiddie pool right outside our window. Not RIGHT outside as there were trees, bushes and plants between our window and the kiddie pool but we made sure to keep our drapes closed whenever we changed. We arrived around 8am and reception was able to give us a room which was great. The room was OK. It had the air of having been sitting for a while. Like no one had stayed in it and therefore housekeeping had not had to be in there cleaning. The K-cups needed replenishing, there were no recyle bags for the trash can and when I moved the trash can there was a big brown stain about the size of a cake plate underneath it. It was almost as if someone had put the trash can over the stain to hide it. We had great housekeeping service all week and the room wasn't nasty or anything but I had expected a little more since we were paying close to $240 a night. I never did say anything as I'm not the type to complain to anyone but my husband.

We stayed at RPH in the beginning of April. In looking at the map, we were in Tower 2 on the ground floor. Our room looked out into bushes but beyond those were the croquet spot. The dog park was near as we saw many signs for it. That said, I only saw one little dog in the lobby. Our room was super clean as was the entire hotel. And I loved the location of our room, even though I now realize it was on the pet floor. :)

RPH is a beautiful hotel.
