Really basic bank and use year question

Hey y'all -

I have a quick question and I want to make absolutely sure I get this right:
we just purchased a BCV with a February use year. I have until September 30th to bank points correct? I want to put it on my outlook calendar and on my to do list (but don't want to be wrong on the dates).

That is correct, all points must be banked four months prior to the first day of the next use year. A february use year begins on Feb 1st so counting backwards Jan 1, Dec 1, Nov 1, Oct 1. Therefore a february use year points must be banked before Oct 1 which translates to on or before Sept. 30th. Hope that helps.
