Really Bad Commercials - any opinions?

I'm doing a project with my senior class and I need some input.

What is the worst commercial on television?

The one with the Philly cheese steak pizza. It makes men look like they're all idiots.

The Labatt Blue commercials with the bear - any of those is horrible.

The "It is SOOO good" Yoplait commericals. They bug me sooo much!!! If I were one of those actresses I'd be so embarrassed.

I vote for the Lexus Christmas commercial where they drive around with ribbons on the car. It almost caused a riot on another thread here on the CB.

Can't believe no one has mentioned these yet, but my vote goes to any and all ads for "feminine" products. UGH. The current "winner" is the one where the teacher confiscates the tampon, thinking it's a snack food. *barf*

Some of the Subway commercials. This woman is eating ice cream & when her husband questions her - she says "it's OK, I had Subway for lunch". Then we get to see hubby out washing the car in a cheerleaders outfit - when his wife looks puzzled - he says "it's OK, I had Subway for lunch". Now, what does that have to do with eating a meal? That commercial just really irks me!

I was sitting here trying to think of another when I realized, if it's a truly bad commercial, you won't even remember it.

I agree MHopkins...equally bad is the one where the girl drops her tampon out the window and goes fishing for it because she refused to use anything else. Dumb.

The one for the one minute coffeee maker where the wife comes out of the bedroom starts the coffee maker goes back in the room, drops her robe and then comes back out a minute later to get her coffee with her husband trailing behind her inhis boxers. She says something to the effect of "umm thats good" and he says "thank you" and she gives him a dirty look.... it's so awful.

The "Ancient Egypt" commercials for the upcoming Discovery special are the most annoying things going today.

Virtually ANY political ad. If I see one more doofus with his jacket slung over his shoulder (white shirt and tie slightly askew) bending over children or standing under a tree looking toward the horizon .............I'm going to barf. Why would anyone think that would make them the better candidate?

How about the Toyota commercials? The "My Car" (any of them) Camry, or how about the SUV one where the guys run out of food and have to eat bugs? Didn't they think that people might think they couldn't afford to eat because the freaking SUV was too expensive? What a maroon!

And another (non) favorite, just about any Target commercial with really ugly beautiful people.

I don't know if these are shown anymore, but those stupid Invisalign commericals!!!! Every commerical made fun of people in traditional braces, and showed how ugly and undesirable those metal mouth people were, as compared to the perfect models supposedly wearing Invisalign ones! UGH!!!

I switched the channel every time those insulting commericals came on.

UGH!!

Makes me want to say:
"This is Ishtar bad"
"This is Detroit Tigers bad"
"This is food poisoning bad"

AND THEN THEY MADE NEW ONES!!!

Those actresses should be ashamed, very ashamed.

I never saw these when I lived in NY, but here there's a furniture store...I think Jordan's furniture?

These two middle aged mens talk TO you as if you were sitting across from them about how they won't BS you, etc.

Makes me want to strangle them.

Another annoying one (only Boston area)...that stupid "Garment District" one. "The Garment District....its not a district....its a storeeeee". Oh shut up already.

I'm also not a fan of any tampon commercial. WHY must they always wear white.

I think the WORST one hands down (just because it annoys me) is the Wal Mart commercial where the teenage girls talk about how GREAT it is to shop at Wal Mart. Apparently Wal Mart mass produced clothes allow them to be individuals? Or the one where the mother buys her daughters keepsake jewelry at Wal Mart. Uh huh, heartwarming.

My favorite car, unfortunately, has stupid commercials. The Honda Pilot, with something about a man raised by wolves. It's a good thing this vehicle has great safety ratings and such, because the commercials do NOT make me want to go out and buy it!

I also hate that all-in-white tampon commercial. Seriously, a woman ad-person should know better.
