anybody like riality tv shows like American idol or big brother?

p.s if this is in the wrong place feel free to move it

I love American Idol, I have been watching the new series that started a couple of weeks ago, my all time favorite American Idol was Fantasia Barrino, I thought she was superb.

I don't mind them, Pop Idol and X Factor in particular, however I do feel it's got a bit out of hand and there are just too many on.

The Ice Skating one was the final straw for me. :sad2:

Sorry, never liked Big Brother.

The only "Reality Show" that I feel is worth watching is Bad Lads Army.

Firstly from the viewpoint of having been there, but also as I feel it shows how an individual can change for the better with the right type of motivation and training techniques.

Blows the Liberal left softly softly :furious: attitude out of the water!!!!!

Yes, I'm a huge fan of Big Brother, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here and Strictly Come Dancing. I'm not so keen on the music type ones like Pop Idol or X Factor although the auditions are not to be missed :)

I watch both x Factor and Americal Idol. At the moment I am really enjoying the Americal Idol auditions, so funny :teeth:

I have to agree with Sue about Fantasia. She was my favourite winner. It was so nice to see someone with talent, who was dirt poor and had nothing, going on to win.

And a single mum too :goodvibes Have you heard her cd Florence?, I have it in the car at the moment, it is fabulous :teeth:

I love Bad Lads Army and Brat Camp, also got addicted to BB, CBB last year. don't mind Hells kitchen, Jamies school dinners, supernanny

I guess I'm just more interested in real people than 'characters' - I couldn't care less if I never watched another soap.

New series of Brat Camp next week! :yay:

Forgot about that Sue. I haven't heard her CD, didn't even know she had released one. Where did you get it Sue?

My DH and i love American idol DD watched the last series we both loved Constantine and were absolutely devastated when he was voted off We still think he will be the most sucessfull already having a tv series up his sleeve. DD and DH have got tickets to see Kelly Clarkson this month.

I have to admit I love all of them- Big Brother becomes a way of life for me when it's on....there seem to be so many on at the moment- You Are What You Eat, It's Me or the Dog, Holiday Showdown, etc etc...there's a whole channel on Sky for Reality programmes and I sometimes even watch dodgy stuff like Cheaters!

Does Most Haunted count as "Reality"?! I like that too......

yes. of course it counts

Sorry, I can't stand any of them. I tried watching every now and then to see what all the hype was about but ended up feeling as if an alien was extracting the lifeforce from me.

Even my teenage daughter said, after having to watch X-factor round a friend's house, "I feel like I've had a mental lobotomy"! :lmao: Creased me up no end!! :rotfl2:
