If we are at Rope Drop at HS on a crowd level 4 day, is it realistic to think we could do the Toy Story meet, Cars meet, get a rider swap (while DH rides) for ToT and make it to Disney Jr for myself and the kids by the 9:40 show with two kids in tow?

Unlikely.

Do the meets and see how your timing looks.

Awesome! Thanks Robo! I thought so, but touring plans doesn't seem to think it's possible, so I wanted to see what real people thought. I appreciate your help!

You took my errant answer.

My "final answer" is unlikely.

ToT generally takes a long time to get through.

Will not happen. The show starts at 9:40 which means you need to be in line no later than 9:30.

I think it's worth a try! When we went back in June for SWW we saw Buzz & Woody and rode TSMM before the park officially even opened! Depends on how early they let you in and if your kids don't mind to walk fast. I think it could be totaly doable!!

Just be clear - I'd be ditching the husband at ToT to ride alone and seeing Disney Junior with the kids without him. We'd be getting the rider swap for later in the day. Does that change your opinion?

Much better.
Just know that the kid(s) need to be at the entrance to ToT in order to get the Rider Swap Pass.

Just check your timing after the first Meet.

Right. There's where I start to see a problem with squeezing it all in - is getting the kids to the entrance and back to Disney Jr. I guess in a pinch we could just forget the rider swap and split up.

It increases the likelihood of success, but there's no guarentees on any of it. Depends on a) what time they open the gates (was 8:50 when we were there) b) depends on the crowds that day c) depends on how far back you are in the crowd (even though gates opened at 8:50, by the time we got through the crowd and through the gates, it was almost 9:00 d) and then of course just depends on how long it takes you to do the M&Gs.

If you're talking about a 9am opening time I'd say unlikely. There is a decent amount of walking between the various things you mentioned (particularly going from Toy Story to Cars to Tower - to Junior). I'd say do Toy Story first which seems to have the biggest line (and if you're not near the front of the pack at drop might have a big wait right up front). Cars and TT on a crowd 4 day should not be bad lines even after Dis. Jr. if you dont' get the swap before that.

Thanks everyone! I split off another FP for my husband and son to ride Star Tours and me for ToT. We didn't think my older son would like ToT and this way if the rider swap doesn't pan out, at least I can ride later in the day.

I agree, it isn't so much the # of attractions but distance between them. That's a lot of running back and forth. I would just do cars later when your on that side of the park
