There seems to be some rumors about a change in the way dinning plan credits are being used. If possible lets limit posts to anyone that has real world experience not second hand my brothers friends cousins told them but real world first hand experience using the dinning plan for a stay that started in 2006. I think we know how the plan operated in 2005 so postings on experiences that happened during 2005 wouldn't provide any usefull info on any changes that started in 2006.
I thought it would be usefull to get some real world experience to answer these two questions.
First are the credits now being tracked seperately by age? I know that the card has the number of adults and children identified on them but the receipts never itemized the credits by adult or child. So the first question is does the receipts you get back when you but a meal differentiate the credits? This would appear to be the best way to tell if they are separating them in the system. They would have to have a way to tell you the number of child / adult credits if they did differentiate them.
The second question is were there limits on using the credits? Such as not being able to pay for children meals out of pocket or not being able to purchase more adult meals for a meal than the number of adults you have on your card.
Thanks in advance to keeping this just for real world experiences.
