I don't know where to post this to ask for help.

I bought a box of VMK pins in Epcot on my last day of my trip. I opened the box after I got home and it is empty with only the little brochure that comes with the pins. Does anybody know where I can contact? I bought it in Mouse Gear. I can't believe people steal the pins out of the box.

Thanks for any help.

Omg Thats Terrible!!!  i can't believe someone would do that!! i hope everything works out :goodvibes

I had the very same thing happen to me just this past week. Brought them back to the emporium and they exchanged no problem. When I went back, there were two more empty boxes and a third with its pins, but the bag was opened. of course that was the only full one left, adn that day was going to be my last day at MK so i had no option. heh.

They need to tape the boxes shut, IMHO.

I actually posted about this problem in November sometime. It happened to me also. They were really nice about replacing them as along as i had my receipt. Im not sure where you live, but i will be going down there next weekend if I can do anythign to help. I know they did ask for a receipt and wanted me to return it in person. Also, if I can find the thread, ill posta link. Let me know if I can help.

I appreciate the comments. I am looking for the receipt right now. I have lots of other receipts from the trip including one for a bag of 79 cent pretzels  but not the pins. I sent an e-mail to the address posted above and received an auto-reply saying they will get back to me when they can. I may be out of luck if I can't find the receipt.

Yes, the boxes need to be sealed.

I also noticed in January that these boxes were harder to find than previous trips. Stores that carried them before now have all kinds of other boxes of collector pins but not VMK. I think I saw 6 kinds.

I posted about this earlier. I bought 3 boxes and one of them was empty. (purchased at WoD) I was able to exchange it at the Emporium later that night.

I'm sure they won't give you trouble in returning.

They need to package those pins a better way.

She can't exchange them as quick as that, she says she bought them on the last day of the trip.

I used the e-mail address that WDWLightningZ posted for merchandising to inquire about it. I should have looked in the box before I left the park, but I didn't. We stuffed the bags in the van after leaving Epcot and headed home for Texas. If I had noticed it while still at WDW I'm sure they would have taken care of it, but long distance I just don't know what to expect. I'm hoping they believe me and will just replace them. If not, then I guess I learned my lesson and will open the box at the cash register next time (if I buy any more).

Thanks everyone for the help and encouragement.

We bought two boxes on our trip in October and had a similar problem with the box and bag inside being opened. Everything was still there, but returned it and got a sealed set.

Good thing I checked it before checking out;)

Aye! you need to always check your booty at the check out, is why they named it, just fyi .. i hope they do the right thing and give you another my self. glpirate:

Well I guess that is true. I've never opened a box of anything else to be sure it was inside before I pay. And I've never bought an empty box before.

Note to self: check out my booty first. pirate:

I haven't purchased empty boxes before, but all but one of my Minnie Sofa codes have not worked. So, I have 3 Minnie Sofa pins that have non-working codes.

I've tried Contact Us at VMK and also WDW Merchandising and nobody has returned contact. Any other ideas out there?

Same thing happened to me in October - got two boxes, one empty. This was at Paradise PIer guft shop
