REAL VMK Logo Pins... Question?

Here is a picture of the original. It is slightly slanted. Also the writing is in white. Back of pin is dated 2005.

I have the new version... it is silver..not gold. Also there is a slight slant to it too.

Thanks for all of your help everyone! I bought a couple of the pins on E-Bay...One for my little boy and then I bought me a set with the pin, Lanyard /medallion and badge holder. We always do pin trading at Disneyland just for fun so I need to make sure we attach my little guys pin with a special "non removable back" We don't need to have that traded away.... We will be down to Disneyland for 5 days leaving this Saturday and I am hoping to find the pirate pins with the cards. Hopefully they will still be selling them..

It always puzzled me as to why Disney doesn't sell VMK merchandise, aside from the pirate cards/pins. I'll bet a lot of people would buy an open edition VMK logo pin!
