when do you put up your tree???Any tips for easy disposal???

You can buy very large plastic bags that you set the tree in when you put it up.

When it's time to take it down, just pull the bag up and drag it out.

We usually put ours up the weekend after Thanksgiving and it goes out at LEAST by New Year's Day but usually the day after Christmas. By then I'm tired of Christmas decorations and ready to get it out of here and look toward spring!

We use the disposable bag. You just put it under the tree when you set it up and when you take it down, just pull it up over the tree.

Where I live they use the trees to make mulch and they collect them at several parks throughout the city. We just drop ours off at the park and they take it from there.

Love real trees. We will be getting ours this weekend.

Oh, make sure you have a good working vacuum cleaner. ;)

Up the weekend after Thanksgiving(this year it was the day after), and its usually down by 12/26. I have the mindset that once Christmas is over, I want it OVER.
We usually use those big bags for disposal too.

I take mine down the day after Xmas. what I do is take a sheet put it on the floor and lie the tree down and drag it out the back door, not many needles all over the carpet that way.:D

We buy one of those big bags and our trash co. will pick them up for a few weeks after Christmas if they are in the bag.

We put ours up the day after Thanksgiving this year...haven't lost more than a few needles so far.
We don't have trash pick up in our town, but one of the local boy-scout troops is raising money and for $5 will come and take away your tree.

I'm Italian, so I never take any of our Christmas decorations down until Epiphany, which is January 6th.

We have three trees - two fake, which I put up November 11th this year (usually do it the day after Thanksgiving, but this year I knew I would be travelling and wanted to enjoy them longer), and the live tree went up the first weekend in December. Its already starting to look a little dry, but I keep changing the water and spritzing it, so hopefully it will last until January 6th.
