Real potatoes or boxed????

Are the mashed potatoes that are served at the various restaurants made from real potatoes or are they the boxed/powdered type. I really hate boxed/powdered potates, but for the money spent at the restaurants... they should be real.

Now the mash po that we had at the TS were defanitely real.. You can just tell by the texture you know? That was Le Cellier, Sci Fi, POR food court, 50's PT that we tried..

I worked in the resturant business for many years (not Disney though), and many resturants use something called "potato buds".. More along the lines of instant, but made out of real potatoes (Instant are too though). Very tasty in my opinion. They have a good texture as well.

We had TS, CS and buffet mashed potatoes and none of them tasted like instant to me. I should know we eat instant potatoes all the time because I'm a failure at making decent ones from scratch.
