slightly off topic about the picture thing but think of it this way. First today you are younger than you will be tomorrow and you probably look better than you will later for that reason

. I try not to ever be really critical of myself in pictures even though I am not at all photogenic and there is always something I wished was not there but....
think about your family. When you look at pictures of a loved on that is not with you any more do you look at the bad hair or how fat they look or any of that other meaningless stuff? No, you look at their loving smile or their eyes or them. Try to remember that you are the most critical judge of all. No one looks at a picture of Grandma and thinks, "if only she lost 10 pounds and was wearing makeup that picture would have been better" We are glad to have the picture!
I say this because I am living proof I look back at myself 20 years ago in high school and I was a Goddess! Only I didn't know it. So I try to remeber now that when I am 80 I am going to look back at my 40 year self and think the very same thing!
