Real Life game/fun: Calling for a DisBoard Gamers DisMeet....first week Oct 2013

It's fun to think about possibly going in October but that's a very crowded, busy week at WDW. We were there in 2005 and it was a zoo but I will still consider going; don't want to even breathe a word though to DH until much, much later on since I owe him a beach vacation of his choice before then and I have no vacation days until 2013 not to mention money is tight.

I'll give this a bump...there's sadness around my house, we had to put our DDog Emma down, she had been failing and finally all she was able to do was to wag her tail as we petted her.

My DVC friend went back a YEAR!!!!

I know can you believe it? So have we settled on any actual dates yet? I am trying to get a feel for which way I need to my booking.

I've been trying to pin DH down to see if he wants to see anything in particular in the US for the last year. He's rather good at evasion and procrastination.

We were looking at sept 29th to oct 6th. It may be a little cheaper for flights on sundays.

We are probably flying out of Oz around the 21st of September. I would like to break the trip up in LA first, see CL and then make our way to MCO. I'm thinking of getting in at least 3 or 4 days earlier than the 29th....gives us time to go to Universal first. And then we'd hit WDW. Not sure how long; because it all depends on what we do afterwards. I'd like to get to NY in this trip but that would mean pulling DS out of school for an extra week.

And Bobbi mentioned Cape May.....

My dates are still up in the air, because it all depends on when I start culinary school. If I start after January, there's no way I can go. If I start in January, I MIGHT be able get into the DCP for pastry, but we'll see. I'll keep you guys updated
