I see it this way, Bethany is just who she is. She does not make excuses for it and she can be very rough but I would much rather watch her then watch that nut job Kelly. That women either has some very serious problems or she is a airhead. Last season I would say she was in LALA Land but this season I would say she is crazy. There is something not right about her. I did not see everyone ganging up on her. What I saw was someone who is very unstable and if I were her ex I would take the girls away from her. She is dreaming that another women is trying to kill her. That is crazy. I have known women in my life that I do not like and we don't get along but I have never dreamed of them trying to kill me. She has gone off the deep end or maybe she has always been there. She did say she use to have fears of being alone even when she was married. I am sorry but she is just not right.

All you have to do is read Kellys blogs and twitter to realize she's not all there. Says one thing and then seconds later, the complete opposite. She is inconsistent, contradictory and at many time, unintelligible.

Bethanny is who she is and she also owns it. She has and does say she did the show because she thought it would be great tool for promotion. She owns the fact that shes just a reality personality and not a star. She owns who she is and what she says, realizing and admitting its not always tactful or the kindest thing to say. I completely understand how she might not be everyone's cup of tea but I can respect her self awareness.


kelly, on the other hand, owns nothing. She is completely out there. At first I thought there was an issue but those events transpired months ago. She still has custody of her kids, still lives in the same place and no one near her has done anything to get her help. So really, if those closest to her aren't doing anything to :help" her, why should Bravo? Maybe its because there is nothing wrong with her except her being dimwitted and just plain odd.

She speaks like a 15 yr old. Everything being "gross" or "creepy". She won't eat pretzles cause she doesn't eat processed foods but snacks on gummy bears and jelly beans. She tweets that she doesnt blame editting but writes to Andy Cohen that she was unhappy with the editting. She tweets that she doesnt watch the show but then comments how funny the show was.....

Let's not forget Kelly telling Bethanny that she was UP HERE and bethanny was DOWN THERE, last season. I see pure jealousy of Bethanny and someone who has no idea how to handle that.

With that, Im out LOL.. WAAAAAY too involved in a reality show. (Who am I kidding, Ill still be watching and playing armchair psychological evaluator)

What I wonder about is, what do these women tell their children about their behavior and how they are played out on the show. Every single one of them has been a mean girl at some point, has done something they shouldn't be proud of on tv. Even if their kids don't watch, their childrens' friends watch and can report back to the kids. If it were my mom, I'd be mortified! And being a parent, I would not do that to my kids when it could be prevented.

At some point, I think we all realize our parents aren't perfect. If these women are really like this, I imagine their kids (at least the older teens) realized this a while ago. Chances are their friends' parents run in the same social circles and may behave similarly. I don't think this is a huge issue.

I'm still not convinced of the "poor Kelly" POV, at least not from the standpoint that she just feels "ganged up" against by the others. It's not like this past episode was the only instance of not-so-normal behavior.

I think I would feel some sympathy for Kelly had she not kept telling Bethenny that she is not a chef, but "just" a cook....I think the first 3 or 4 times she said it was enough, by the time she said it yet again at breakfast the next day and dinner the next night that was just obnoxious. Even Sonja kept asking Kelly why she was saying that over and over again.

Wow, I had such a different take on this episode as everyone else!

To me, Kelly was pretty much being bullied for the whole trip. She called Bethanny a "hoe-bag" after they pretty much laughed at her because she didn't want to have a one night stand. She probably got frustrated and it just came out. Sure, she said silly stuff right back to them, but they took ganging up on her to another level. Gosh, I felt so bad for Kelly. And I don't really like any of them!

I think Bethanny is an "adult" mean girl. She needs to learn the difference between being sarcastic and just being mean spirited. And she uses people just like she accuses Jill of. Alex anyone? She wants the fame as bad as the rest of them.

I think Alex is pathetic and would eat the crumbs of anyone she thinks is popular and pays her the least bit of attention. And Kelly was right, she was channeling Bethanny the night she confronted Jill and she looked like an idiot.

Sonja enjoys watching people fall apart and then tries to play "savior."

Ramona is and will always be the resident nutjob.

If you've ever been the one that the rest of the group chooses to pick on, you'd reach a breaking point and flip out too. Seriously. And when you finally let it all out, it comes out in jumbles and doesn't make sense because you are so upset! And then they kept calling her psycho, crazy, talking about her like she wasn't there, honestly, I wouldn't be able to explain myself or make sense either if that was happening to me.

It was sad to watch grown women acting like that. Reminds me of why I don't really enjoy hanging around groups of women. I was embarrassed to be female when my boyfriend kept asking me if girls really act like that!! (yes, he watched it with me!)

Sorry, but that show last night really, really upset me. It wasn't funny, it was like watching a bunch of hens keep picking at one hen.

The show used to be fun, but now it's just mean and sad.

If I met Kelly in real life I would think she was on something. In one conversation she makes no sense. She will be talking about her shoes in one breath and then go on a tirade about silverware in the next. She is either on something or she needs mental help. I cannot imagine dealing with that on a daily basis. Bethenny is rough around the edges but you either like her or you don't. I think she is the same way towards others meaning that she may not like you but she can be cordial. Kelly is imo in need of professional help. Either she needs Dr. Drew or a mental health professional.

I guess I prefer to believe that something is going on in Kelly's life that is affecting her judgment. Because if I am asked to believe that she is normal then I have to say she is one of the meanest and rudest people I have ever seen. She came into the show last year Being up here and telling someone she was lower and now she just keep baiting the person with cook/chef. That is just plain being mean and I do wish that she doesn't return because this is not entertainment to me.

I disagree - to me it seems those two are just oil & vinegar (for my 2cents, Kelly is the oil, Bethenny the vinegar). Kelly has just had enough of that girl, and is not dealing with it in a politically correct manner. At this point we see she (Kelly) could really use some good counseling at the least and a great support group. Bethanny is totally self-absorbed and does need to get a grip also, but Kelly went off the deep end this episode.

Um not to be the vocabulary police but.....oil and vinager go together...hello salad dressing. The metaphor is "like oil and water" which do not mix well and will seperated if you do blend them.

I'm thinking maybe you're just quoteing Kelly who used this line (which Bethenny and Alex totally realized as they made a *** face right after she said it). Classic, right up there with the makeing lemonaid out of lemons/mountain out of a molehile gaffe.

Unfortunately, the county I live in has a huge meth problem. All I know about the meth heads is that they get real skinny, real fast. And their teeth rot out pretty quickly and they stay hot. You will see them in the dead of winter wearing no shirt and no shoes.
I've never smelled of it, and hope I never do. I have never heard the thing about cat urine. GROSS.
Whether it's mental or drug related, Kelly has a problem. And now I can't laugh at her anymore because it's sad. Esp after watching this last episode where all the girls backed off because they knew there is something seriously wrong with her. I didn't even think about it until they brought it up.

I have to agree.. There's something seriously wrong with that girl.. I could hardly believe what I was seeing - kept thinking that it must have been edited to make her look as bad as possible - but after thinking about how she's acted so odd in previous episodes, I now believe she's gone over the edge..

With each episode, her appearance has become more and more sloppy, so maybe it's drugs?

Well, the finale should be interesting with Jill and Bethenny having lunch, but I think we all know that's not gonna turn out well. (Jill didn't go to her wedding and there was the big facebook scandal where Jill congratulated her on her baby boy, before Bethenny even gave birth and it was a girl). I do wish they would make up, but I don't think it's gonna happen. Kelly is still having "issues" and I think that Jill and Luann finally see that. I'm liking Sonja more each episode. Can't wait to see Luann make a fool of herself next week singing her "hit single" (LMAO) in that club. I guess that's mean of me, but it's entertaining to watch someone who has been surrounded by yes men her whole life, and no one has the guts to tell her she can't sing. Oh, and someone may have posted this already, but I was watching The Real Housewives of NJ the other day (I don't keep up with it as much as NY) and Gilles Bensimon was on there taking modeling pictures of one of the housewives daughter. He is pretty old. But I bet he's glad to be off the Kelly crazy train.

My daughter called me a mean girl when I laughed when Jill fell skating. Sonja is the only one with class on that show.

The more I see the countless, the more I think she's nothing more than a hack. She really needs to give up. If she could have leaned over the table and got into Kelly's lap to get the dirt faster she would have. I can't stand women like her.

Oh, I laughed when she fell, too! Especially wearing that get up. It wouldn't have been near as funny if she had been dressed in jeans and a sweater. But Jill had to make a big production out of it as if she were Michelle Kwan.

I would agree with you about the Jill reaction being set up if it wasnt for Alex. That girl was breaking out...you can always tell when she gets mad or upset because her chest gets red. I did think Bethenny handled it as if she was forewarned.

She seems very level headed this year (except for the cat walk...yikes!) Jill is a "mean girl" and in high school just like Alex said. I think the producers must troll mental hospitals or something, catch people just before they walk through the doors, and convince them to sign them up for the Housewives shows instead of going for treatment. That or they have a box on the application that says "check here if you are a certifiable wack job"!
California has Lynn, New Jersey has Danielle (she freaks me out the most), New York has Kelly, and Atlanta had that crazy lady in the blond wig!
Jill's skating outfit was hysterical! What was that? Watching her spin (and fall) and skate around while everyone watched was awkward! It reminded me of my 7 year old saying "look! look what I can do!". It was just sad.

Isn't it funny how much people change in a year. I lOVED Jill, hated Alex, didn't care for Ramona and not a huge fan of the countless. All that has changed with the exception of still not liking Luann. Oh, and I couldnt stand Kelly last year, but she has gone off the deep end. I don't even think it's a mental thing now (I'm not a dr, this is just an opinion). I think it's a drug thing. I got to reference the Housewives' show with my DS last night.

I am mad at one of his friends who put me in a bad situation without me knowing about it. He told his father that he was sleeping at my house but he actually slept at another friend's house of whom his father didn't approve. If something happened to him, his father would have thought he was my responsibility.

Last weekend, he tried to come into my house to hang out with my DS. I told him that he wasn't welcome yet, as I was not over being angry yet.

DS was concerned because tonight is his 8th grade dinner dance and he doesn't want me to say anything to his friend. I told him I wasn't like the HW of NYC. I don't go to parties to corner people. There is a time and place for everything and just because I'm a chaperone, doesn't make that the place that I should talk to his friend.

After he saw last night's episode with Kelli cornering Ramona at Jill's party, he told me he understood what I was saying and he thanked me for promising to just be happy tonight and not bring anything up.
