This part was truly horrible----you've been warned, lol!!

Teresa went off on some weird menstrual blood tangent, about how Italian girls put their blood in a guy's drink, and the guy falls under their spell. She was saying that's how her brother fell in love with Melissa. You had to watch it to believe it. Sometimes this show makes me wish I could scrub my ears out with bleach!!

:upsidedow Yep, and she was just crude.

I don't really see what's so unbelievable about it? I know plenty of nonverbal autistic children that said things and then stopped. Seemed pretty genuine to me. I don't really think she's 'using' it as her storyline... it's just what she's doing with her life, and they're filming her life.

Definitely agree on the Caroline front.

I know plenty about Autism, what I don't believe is that the cameras just so happened to be there after the whole talk about "oh my baby hasn't said I love you in 1.5 years!" I just don't believe it. I think that was set up. I think she is using her child, you may not but I clearly can see it. She's using it to get sympathy, she's not doing all this research late at night that Chris claims that she is, have you ever followed her twitter? She's on it ALL the time... she generally rants about how much she hates Teresa and goes all crazy on people who point out her hypocrisy. I fear that she is going to manipulate other people who have children with Autism, she's already made this claim that the Black Water that the Manzo boys were selling at one point cures Autism. :sad2:

I had to unfollow her on Twitter last year. She was claiming all kinds of cures for Autism.

Fair enough. The post I quoted seemed like you didn't believe her son had autism or couldn't say I love you, not that you thought she was just using it but you're obviously going off of much more than I am.

I don't have a Twitter and wouldn't be following her if I did.

I have to kids on the spectrum and while I do lots of research all the time I also do twitter and Facebook on things not related to autism for my sanity. I see her doing the show as a way to spread awareness about autism and her journey. I do think part of it is for the money and stuff but I also feel some of her is genuine. Now the other ladies I can't say that.

I know when I first started in the autism journey I was looking into all sorts of cures and such. It was just me hoping things could be better then I learned that wouldn't really happen

Caroline really needs to mind her own business, also.. she shouldn't be one to talk about fighting in families when she can't even mend fences with the siblings she has had a falling out with.

I know I am supposed to be all touched by Jacqueline's son saying "I love you" to his Mom for the first time in 1.5 years, but I don't buy that story for a second. That whole thing seems so fishy to me. Also, the fact that Jacqueline is using her son's Autism as a storyline is quite sickening.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

If there is one positive about her being on the show, it is that it sheds light on how difficult the journey is in the beginning. It was hard for me to watch, because it just brought back all the feelings after my sons were diagnosed.

It's My Party and I'll Fight If I Want to
Teresa's father gets admitted into the ICU just in time for Gia's 12th birthday party.
Sunday June 16, 8:00 pm

Teresa's father gets admitted into the ICU just in time for her daughter, Gia's, 12th birthday party. Kathy plays the tough guy with her family but can't erase the damage done by what she said to Teresa. Caroline returns to her Franklin Lakes mansion to find it's turned into a pig sty. Meanwhile, Jacqueline checks in with her new friend, Melissa, but can't save her when a little white lie makes Teresa see red!

I TOTALLY AGREE with you, Sherri on 'shedding the light on this very difficult journey' for those parents of Autistic children.

Hi friend! This is a big tv night for me. True Blood, Mad Men and Real Housewivex. My dvr will be smoking.:rotfl:

Jacqueline spoke about Nicolas not saying I love you anymore at the reunion last year. I think the moment was real but was saved to be done in front of the cameras. They aren't good enough actors to fake the reactions. There could be many reasons why Chris decided to wait for the cameras.

Anyone else find it interesting that one of Teresa's daughters looks nothing like the other 3??

I've been reading this thread for a while but I had to comment after watching tonite....is it just me or did Theresa's mother say that the ambulance took her father to the hospital and then Melissa said that Joe took him? Then Melissa couldn't remember which day she went....really? I'm no Theresa fan but I think she caught Melissa in a lie this time!

I picked up on that too. But then again, why didn't Teresa correct her and say "no, the ambulance took him, not joe!" Weird. I guess you have to wonder with editing the sequence of things.

I haven't seen all the episode but at one point I thought Theresa said something about everytime her Dad is in the hospital. I wouldn't put it past BRAVO to make two separate hospital visits seem like one.

I have always thought Melissa was a snake in the grass. Joe asked her to go visit his father, right? She told Kathy at the gym that she wasn't going because she was sick, even Kathy didn't buy that one.

I didn't understand why she was saying Joe took him to the hospital either.

How long was Joe sick exactly? Gia's party was more than 4 days after the father went to the hospital. He had those type of stomach problems for that long?

It's the power if tv editing, I wouldn't be surprised if Bravo edited the show to make it look like that. A PP brought up a good point they eluded to the fact that he has been in an out if the hospital. I wouldn't be surprised if this was more than one stay made to look like one to raise the drama.
