WEll maybe Al is an older man and more mature and knows the Juicy Joe isn't worth hurting his fist on. The is some maturity level with Al and also the saying, Don't feed the trolls. It is popular here on the Dis. I don't idiots the time of day either, and who knows, maybe the producers didn't want Al to step in.

Well, we will have to disagree. I believe they have shown that Joe loves Melissa, Richie loves Kathy, and Al despises Caroline. YMMV.

But I don't know, that is what I am saying. Maybe he is. maybe he isn't. If you were to see my mom and dad, you would never think that he was "in love" with her, but I can tell you that he was deeply in love with her for 65 years. But you sure couldn't tell by looking at them without knowing them.

And Tersa threatening Caroline with skeletons, LMAO. When that woman utters one word that makes any type of sense, I will start listening. She says things without even thinking. OH yeah, I forgot, she can't think. she doesn't have a brain to think with. But hay, she sticks with a man that calls her ugly words. Yep, that is a marriage I want to mimic and judge a happy marriage by.

I have to disagree here, just because he gives her an expensive gift does not mean he loves her. I'm not sure what their story is and I don't think any of us have enough information to say for sure.

I have a hard time believing that Al and Caroline are basically not in love or "faking" their marriage - if he had this mistress and lived at the brownstone every night I can guarantee you Theresa would have brought that up in their many arguments.

That is exactly my point. YOu can say he doesn't act like he loves her, won't spend more time at home, or doesn't take up for her, or won't look at her, but yet he gives her a ring. We don't know them so we don't know their status of their marriage, I think I stated that, but maybe I wasn't clear.

ETA, Yep I said this in my first post about this, that none of know them and know of us really know.

I really think Theresa and Mellissa/Joey NEED the $$ from this show-and the $$ they make from the side deals. The house Mellissa/Joey are in had a baloon payment , they could not sell it and pretended to live in it for the show. Now its for sale

Richie/Kathy seem to live modestly and he owns a gas station/ store-so they have money

The person I dont understand doing the show is Carloline and Al-The brownstone has HUGE Income-so why do this?

I have to ask if anyone else saw when they show the words ANgelo is speaking on the bottom of the screen (when he is off camera) and he is telling someone
Kim and Teresa wanted me to set up Melissa so I came here.

I also think when they showed "the salon", it really didn't look like a salon atmosphere.

It looked like the back room of a salon or maybe the back of Kim's little strip mall store.

It was weird.

I think Teresa was loving this and was part of the set-up. If she cared one bit for her "family" she would have warned them before hand.

None of us would let our family members walk into an ambush like that.

As lame of an ambush as that was.

I'm sure this is probably true, but Joe tweeted during the show "This is when Richie and I are driving like crazy to get there"
Maybe all their tweets are made up though, I'm sure they try to make the show look as real as possible.
It is fun to watch the show and have your twitter account open though. It reminds me of pop up video. LOL!

Maybe all their tweets are made up though, I'm sure they try to make the show look as real as possible.

I'm telling you watching an episode with them tweeting is very similar! They all chime in! Rosie, Kathy, Lauren, Caroline, Chris, Gregg, Albie, Joe, Melissa, Richie, Victoria, the producers...not usually Teresa. Even housewives from other casts. I'm sure it's all completely fabricated, but it's entertaining none the less!

YES!!!! How come no one else (especially those defending Teresa) is addressing this? It's obvious the guy was mic'ed up. But he was off talking to that other woman and seemed to forget that he was wearing the mike and basically admitted that Kim and Teresa wanted him to embarrass Melissa.

Why on earth did Teresa want to go confront this Angelo with Melissa? Because she wanted a big altercation in where Angelo said in front of a large group of people that she was a stripper. When Angelo left and Teresa went looking for him, that was a big "tell" for me.

And I agree that if Teresa had Melissa's best interests at heart she would have totally called her ahead of time to say, hey, I met this guy who claims you were a stripper. I'm giving you the heads up. No, instead she follows Melissa in the bathroom and asks her all sorts of questions, on camera, and then gets visibly upset when Melissa decides to call Joey. She realizes she is going to be exposed.

Do I think Teresa is 100% responsible? No. I think Kim D. found this Angelo and clued the producers and Teresa in. Teresa wanted it to look like her hands were clean (by leaving the room in the salon) but she played dumb when Angelo said hi to her at the table and then searched all over for him to "confront him." She had her chance to tell him to scram when he approached the table.

If you go back and watch it, pay close attention to when they show Al sitting there. You can see the ladies talking (fighting) in the background. It's the same shot over and over. Because one of them facing the camera in the background reaches for something. And I thought that Al did finally speak up and told Joe the Pig enough, to let the ladies work it out.

To even suggest we know anything about these people's private lives because we see them an hour every week is ridiculous! There is sooooooo much editing that goes on. The producers can twist anything the way that they want to twist it. I may have mentioned this on one of the other housewives threads, I think OC, that one of them said that the producers edited two completely different phone conversations to make it look like one conversation. So to say that someone hates their wife because of the way he is portrayed on a reality show is crazy! Who knows....maybe Teresa really is a rocket scientist and Joe the Pig is really a super sweet sensitive guy!

What I've heard (I think on twitter, but could have been a blog) was that Kim organized the whole thing, but Teresa knew Kim was planning something and that her target was Melissa. Supposedly Teresa knew for 2 weeks before it happened and knew it would come to fruition at the fashion show, she just didn't (supposedly, but my guess is she did) know the exact details of the plan.
