Theresa....could her entire family look any more unhappy at the photo shoot? I laughed..she was trying to give a speach thanking her family, and would stop to yell at the kids...and go right back to being fake giving her speach!!!

I really don't like her this season.

Kathy...Your daughter is 16, almost 17...you think she doesn't know all about sex by now? She seems like a really good kid (both her kids do) but if she gos to school, even private school, she knows more than you do!

Ahsley....Ashley, Ashley, Ashley...I must say her biodad seems like a good guy...it takes a strong man to call his ex-wife's husband his daughter 'father'. At least they all were able to confront her (they seem like they are on the same page with her behavior) as a united front...she certainly won't be pitting 1 set of parents against the other. If only more divorced parents acted like that!

I'm not liking this season at all. It's turning into 1 big infomercial. Teresa for her cookbooks, Melissa for her (terrible) singing, Kathy for her catering business......

I'm so tired of the Ashley drama. Get a job girl.

Her behavior is her parents fault...she has been able to play the 'I come from a broken home' card for WAY too long...and really, that card is not too rare anymore..she needs to go to a battered womens shelter, or an orphanage in a 3rd world country to see just how awful her life is. They enable her by getting her a new car (really, if she NEEDED a car, get her a clunker, a safe clunker, don't get her a new jeep so she can show every one her status. Get her a clunker, uncool car so she has a way to get to work, and make her EARN money to buy something better....that is how life works, you want something bad enough, you work for it!

I like the idea of Ashley having to work in an orphanage. I grew up in a family that eked out a living and our "extra" was being able to eat takeout pizza once a month.

My brother spent 5 weeks working in an orphanage in Mexico between his jr and sr year of hs. He came back a changed person after seeing that for as bad, financially, as we had it, there were people far worse off than us. He understood that coming home each night to a loving family was worth far more than anything money could buy.

As for the car, I agree completely with what you've said. The only real reason to have a car is to get from point A to point B. Once you realize that you can upgrade to a more comfortable car/truck, etc. My DS is prematurely disappointed in the fact that he's going to be driving my 2000 Saab when he gets his license early next year. Mom is getting a newer car and he's getting what we already have and has no payments. He's lucky that he'll have a car at his disposal (with appropriate permission from Mom and Dad to take it.) Otherwise, he'd be sharing my car with me. Luckily, since he's been driving with his permit, he's starting to understand that we have good reasons for not buying him a new car and giving him one that already has some scars on it. Once he proves he can handle the responsibility of that car, we can talk about how he can put himself into something better.

I think that is exactly what Ashley needs.

And what's with all these people-NONE of the kids (except Albie) even TRY to go to college?

AShley looks like she actually has some artistic talent-why isnt she going to some sort of classes? Her Mom can cry all she wants-this kid has ruled the roost too long-and she is almost un-save-able

I'm interested to see what happens with Ashley on the next episode. She's a spoiled brat and needs to get over herself. I agree her parents have let her go on with the drama for too long. I'm amazed at how the parents all got together and put up a united front. And yeah, Chris as her step-dad - you can tell he loves her and wants the best for her, but she just acts like he's trying to buy her love and she gladly accepts. UGH what a mess!

I can't stand Theresa and her fakeness anymore. I have a 3 year old and yeah, she has her moments. Having them this morning in fact LOL, but dang she just lets them get away with so much. My daughter knows from my tone of voice when I've had enough, and we do time-outs. She just lets them do whatever. Oh my, I'm scared to see them in a few years. And Juicy Joe just sits there like a bump on a log instead of taking care of it himself either.

I agree that Jaqueline and Ashely's Bio dad have pretty much let her get away with so much for so long that she is beyond 'saving' now. There's just no getting through.
I burst out laughing when Ashley said the comment about how nobody takes her seriously and even when she got an internship and a part time job from 10-2 they still yelled at her for not getting a full time job!! If I wasn't going to school and only worked 10-2 my parents wouldn't have laughed at me or looked down on me-they would've KICKED ME OUT!

And Melissa and her singing! Pretty much she 'bought' the song and all those producers do is hit record on the computer and crank up the AUTO-TUNE to make it sound somewhat presentable! Why do these 'housewives' think they are going to have singing careers??
Yes, she can carry a tune but is she the next big pop star,

OMG yeah, the working 10-2 just killed me! I could understand if that's all she could find to start with and was looking for something else. I wasn't in college at 20, but worked full time and lived at home with my mom and step -dad. But I've also had a job since shortly after I turned 16. And by shortly after I mean a couple of weeks.

And I helped around the house cooking cleaning laundry etc.

That scene with Ashley in the restaurant was sooooo staged. At the part where she says that at least she's not 20 and pregnant and her mom reacts, the adults couldn't keep straight faces. They were all laughing. What a scripted crock.

Hi everyone … ok, I am an epi behind. Just finished 8/7's show and I was shocked yet I did laugh when one of Teresa and Juicy's kiddos called Juicy "a little troll" … How well she knows her troll err, I mean her dad!!!!

Why make the poor orphans suffer through her. She needs to be kicked out. When she has a full time job or is successfully taking classes she can come back (with new house rules) until then it should be.... "Good bye and good luck, Ashley! We love you.
