Anyone watch Vanderpump Rules? I usually don't (its like The Hills at Sur) but I watched part of it tonight because they showed the dinner from the waitstaffs' view. One of the male bartenders said he thought Joyce was Latoya Jackson.

Anyone watch Vanderpump Rules? I usually don't (its like The Hills at Sur) but I watched part of it tonight because they showed the dinner from the waitstaffs' view. One of the male bartenders said he thought Joyce was Latoya Jackson.

I watched it the first season but haven't at all this season. I had wondered if they were also simultaneously filming for that show during that scene.

Carlton grosses me out. She is a walking contradiction. On one hand, she acts like she's a proper English woman who is above everyone, and then on the other hand, she's as raunchy as it gets. I don't care that she and her husband are kinky-- btw, whoever said that her husband seems sleazy, I agree (he seems like a porn film producer or something) -- but, I find her extremely creepy whenever she is talking to the camera about their sexcapades and does that little smile and looks away from the camera. It's just creepy. Add that to her very large mouth and her skeletal body and I'm really skeeved out. How she was acting around her mother-in-law was beyond inappropriate.

Joyce is full of herself and she does annoy me. With that said, I'm on her side over Brandi's. I think Brandi needs serious therapy. She has the impulsiveness of a bratty 15 old girl. I don't think she should get a pass for her "honesty" when she tells another adult to 'f off', etc. She's not the brightest bulb and can't articulate very well, so she resorts to name calling and insults instead of actual discussions. She's a very immature woman. I think Lisa and Yolanda are embarrassed, but for whatever reason, they don't say anything.

On a side note, my 6 year old wanted to watch "Escape to Witch Mountain" on Netflix the other day. I hadn't seen it since I was a child. Kim was so stinkin' cute and good little actress. Remember when they were in Palm Springs and Carlton was surprised to learn that Kim was the little girl from that movie (and Carlton loved the movie when she was kid)? So, she joins a reality show and doesn't even know who she's on there with? Did she not research the other ladies at all?

Wow Bravo! Did we really have to see Yolandas "for your eyes only" book to her husband? Did we really have to see Carltons little room and what went on at the hustler store? What is going on with this season? I can't stand Carlton nor do I like Joyce. They don't add anything to this season because they can't get along with most of the girls. I don't even know why they were cast for this season. Really couldn't they find some decent people. I know these shows are all about the drama but it isn't even interesting to watch just disgusting. Brandi is just over the top. I hope she watches these episodes and see how trashy she is. Why does she continue to fight with Joyce and her mouth is way out of control. I'm not enjoying this season at all.

The "story lines" seem weak this season.

Joyce-the innocent pretty pagent girl gets picked on

Brandi-portrayed as the bully

Carlton-tries to shock everyone with her sexual escapades with her suggestive talk and sly looks.

Kim-she is replacing her kids with the dog. Yawn.

I think Brandi would do anything for a paycheck. I'm sure Andy and BRAVO told her she better stay provocative and outrageous. She is green with envy over the other women's lifestyles, she would do anything to have it, guarantee.

While I think the Carlton and her mother in law situation is weird I also think if it works for them and they are close let it be. I know a lot of mother in law/daughter in law relationships that are vile and not close etc... At least they get along well and seem REALLY close

I have to admit that Joyce annoys me a bit too and while others say the same, it's hard to pinpoint why. Perhaps it's the constant flipping of the hair, the pageant smile, the kissy kisses? It's as if she is trying to win a pageant and I think it makes Brandi jealous. Brandi has even said that seeing great couples makes her feel envious.

Carlton, she is definitely unique! Don't know what else to say.

I'm not liking RHOBH too much this season either.

I think Brandi targeted Joyce because she is young, beautiful, married etc. She is basically jealous. I think she realized she was wrong and is possibly just being mean to Joyce for the sport of it. Especially when her friend said she crossed a line with Joyce when she made the remark about swimming.

I have to say, as others have also, that Joyce is a bit much for some reason. I think it is because she is always in "pagent mode" to me. That dazzling smile for the camera, the pose with one hand on her hip, the flip of her loooooooong hair, the giggle etc. It's like she is always perfect and "camera ready."

She is beautiful and I can see why she won her title. I think she gets under Brandi's skin. It must be hard for Brandi though to see her friends be so happily married, living in mansions etc. while she is struggling with her personal life. I think her marriage break up is very difficult for her.

I have tried but can not watch Vanderpump Rules....the people on there are 25, but act like they are still in high school. Heaven forbid any of them had to deal with a real problem.............


I agree that Brandi was wrong for the way she attacks Joyce, but I can not like Joyce for some reason. I know some of scenes are cut and editing to make someone look one way or another, but I just can't like her. It seems like she is stirring the pot just to be able to stay on next year!
