Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

If I'm understanding this correctly, a tell-all book -by Taylor- was soon to be released with details on Russell's bisexuality. Thus her outing him is perceived as the reason to putting him over the edge.

I have noticed Taylor yapping to the media a lot within the past month (article in People) and couldn't figure out WHY, for the sake of their daughter, she didn't work things out privately. My only conclusion is money.

So not only does Kennedy see magazine covers with mommy discussing daddy's abuse, she now has to see this.

So sad. My heart breaks for his children...and if there's any truth to the gay outting, my heart breaks for that as well. :sad1:

Something about your post makes me wonder if you happen to know her or her family?

Sad, tragic story.
Yes, we went to high school together. We were on the same cheerleading squad and girls show choir, and I knew her very well. We also went to college together, though I only saw her occasionally there. While her name and face have changed since then, it's apparent her behavior hasn't.

I hope that's not true, that she outted him in a book to make money, but wouldn't be surprised accordin' to your 2nd paragraph.

This was on Andy Cohen's blog, titled "Picking Up The Pieces" -

We're all still trying to process yesterday's very sad news, and looking at how to proceed with the series, which has finished primary production and was set to premiere on Labor Day. We'll let you know what we decide when we do. In the meantime, we're sending our thoughts and prayers to Taylor and the rest of Russell's family.*

She's a real piece of work, isn't she?!

If I was reading it right, it sounds like she's given statements to all these media sources BUT apparently hasn't yet told her daughter that her fathers dead. :( Nice to see where her priorities lie...

What do you think Bravo will/should do? Very sticky situation. I honestly don't know the right thing for them to do!

What an EVIL person. Karma is a witch!!!

They'll show it for sure. The ratings will be huge.

Does someone have a link for the story where Taylor's the one outing him?

The article I read online this morning stated it was 'Taylor's book' - sorry, I can't find the link :guilty: - but I know I read it put out that way.

However, now there's another one noting several of his exes as the sources;

"Russell was recently informed that a tell-all book was being written and that many of his secrets were going to be made public," a source told RadarOnline.com.

"He had expressed great concern about the book."

The source claimed the book would reveal "sordid secrets", which some people think could have pushed him over the edge.

"[Russell had] been told that several of his exes were going on the record to expose the skeletons in his closet,"

Not sure what's the truth, but if there's any truth to outing him with humiliation - DISGUSTING! But why anyone cares about Russell's sex life to begin with, IDK. Difficult to speculate since RHOBH 2 has yet to air and show what's really been going on.

I remember seeing the show last season where Taylor talked about her abusive past. So her writing a book about Russell's history IMO, is sick. She's raising his daughter, and she spoke about Russell's young sons. The fact that she's doing this to make a buck is disturbing. Again, I'm new to this show, am I seeing this wrong?

The lawyer was on one of the HLN shows and said that there was not a book being written about him. Russels mom also said she hoped Taylor's next husband was a billionaire because that was all that could afford her.

Another interesting thing his mother said was during filming they all went to Los Vegas and Russell left for a while, Taylor acted all upset and hurt and the other women bashed him for leaving but his mother said he left to go and see his son play in a baseball tournament and that Taylor knew it was to go see his son. I have no doubt that is the truth, Bravo works things to make drama. I actually felt bad for him during the show because in my opionion he just did not want to be filmed. I think these women get on the show and it does not matter what their husbands think. I think it hit Alexis and her husband hard last season and that is why she was in tears at the party. The husbands get bashed and don't want anything to do with the shows but the wives keep on doing it.

And if Taylor was so abused by him why would she turn around and right a tell all book about him. I am not sure I believe she was doing it. I am not sure why though she thought she should go to a magazine and spill her dirty laundry. Her daughter will one day read that and no matter what is going on between them their daughter does not need to know about it and now with all the new stories coming out. That poor child is going to have a hard time growing up normal now.

So, did anyone else watch the premiere last night?

I did. Almost forgot.

This was my absolute favorite of all the 'housewives' shows.

I hope it can survive. I think they edited it well.

We'll see.

I didn't forget, but went to bed early to get up at 6. Kids started school this morning. I'll have to watch it during a rerun showing. I'm curious to see how it was edited. I hope the producers show respect in these episodes for a suicide victim.

1 show in and they did a great job. Camille was almost likeable too. ;)

I was glad I turned on Bravo because I didn't realize it was going to be on last night. I thought the way the addressed the suicide at the beginning was tasteful. I personally don't feel they have to edit out all of his scenes or ignore the problems that were going on. Honestly, maybe someone would learn from the tragic situation.

I saw a movie this weekend with Kyle in it, I didn't realize that she was still an actress. She was just OK, nothing great.
