 Hi everyone!

We are now taking the plunge and finally making our reservation for 12/18-12/17. We will be reserving 2 standard rooms-1 for our family and 1 for my mother and my husband's mother to share ( ). We've been reading all of the posts in the WL FAQ thread and feel overwhelmed with all of the wonderful info, yet may have overlooked some info.

What are the most desired standard room locations at WL? I hear some may have a glimpse of the castle and fireworks, some may have a glimpse of the EWP, etc. What would you prefer and request? I would assume that we'd like a higher floor (5th?). We are nonsmokers and have 3 kids (13, 9, and 2 (in crib) ). I would also assume we'll be getting adjoining rooms or at least ones in the same wing.

Thanks in advance!!!

We have stayed at WL 4 times and always book standard room overlooking hotel lobby. Yes- ther may be some noise from the resturant but I'm not there for rest and relaxation in my room. One of the main reasons we always go back is because I liked that when the children were little we could seat right outside door and watch sites until they fell alsep. There are rockers every few feet . I felt that rooms off pool or in halls could have been anywhere and did not let me feel the magic of hotel. I bet at xmas the lobby will be beautiful and the huge fireplace will make the mood.

You can see the fireworks with the right "woods view" rooms. Request the top floor facing west.
