DH bought new (to us) pop-up Saturday... Just got off the phone with Disney making my dining reservations... Also added an extra day so we will be driving down ON my birthday instead of the day after... Now to wait my 20 weeks to pack up and go!!!
It was too cold this week not to be dreaming about my FW vacation!

Just make sure you thoroughly test that popup before you go. Even if it's just in the driveway. Maybe even drive it to a local campground for one day, set it up, cook lunch (if you cook), try the heat, try the air, run the fridge.

Then break it down and drive it back home.

There's something to be said for using a camper in real campground conditions before taking it on a long trip!!

Ooops, for some reason, I read 20 days, not 20 weeks!! Take that thing camping a few times before you go to Disney!!!

Oh yeah... We've tested everything. DH and the boys are going to take it to Point Mallard for a weekend when it warms up to test it out. When we got the pop up we had before this one, we would just go and sit in it and test everything out EVERYDAY before we would go. No chances taken.

Just 20 weeks...... :yay:

Congrats on your new camper, :thumbsup2
and on your new Disney ressies :thumbsup2
Did you know that it is a unwritten rule to carry fishing poles in your camper?
Really, I swear,,you never know when you might get a hankering to drop a line.

Oh, trust me... If it's anything like last year's FW trip, and every beach trip we have ever taken... they will be strapped to the roof of the Jeep on the way... DH doesn't even want to get park tickets  so that he can spend 100% of his time at the Fort...

Spending the whole vacation at the fort and not going to the parks thats not a bad thing the wife and I do just that! People watching absolutly priceless and it's FREE, Grab a rocker on the front porch and be amazed. Also try to find out when the bearings were last checked (packed with grease) as this is the number one thing most people over look before a trip on a trailer, It's very easy to do with simple tools and a little time if not handy with a wrench take it to a good r.v. dealer in your area to have the bearings serviced. Good luck at the fort cheers K.:thumbsup2
