And wouldn't you know it. - here comes "DENNIS".

I think we are in for some excitement this weekend.

All I can say is that the storms sure are starting early this year.
:confused3

We just got off the Wonder day before yesterday. We missed the storms I think. Got some rain Thursday evening so Sail Away was indoors and then it rained on us Sunday afternoon while we were wandering around Downtown Disney prior to our flight leaving in the evening. Otherwise it was clear, though VERY hot and humid. Good luck!

Knew about Cindy did not know about Dennis.

They can go around the hurricane. You just might not go in the same order or you might miss a stop. You are on a 3 day cruise. I am not sure what they do or if they can go to another port on the three day. Is the storm going to go thru the Bahamas? This is where the 3 and 4 day cruises go to? Not sure how much time it takes to go to another port futher down in the Caribbean or if they would have the time to do it. If the hurricane is not to go thru the Bahamas you should be fine.

I know on the longer cruises they can change the itinerary or go to the ports backwards, but on a short cruise I haven't a foggie.....ANYONE out there know if they might re-route the cruise and go to another port? If so which port would it be?

I guess the worse that can happen, if we go thru the storm, is that they don't give us credit for the cruise. The next thing is that we could get 1/2 credit for the cruise and if it is real bad :rolleyes1 they could give us full credit for another cruise.

Ho hum ------------ I really think we should be OK. That is what I hope for anyways.

I was going to call the cruise line today, but just didn't do it.

It looks like Dennis is going to be around Cuba on the western side on Thursday at a Cat 1 hurricane. I do not think it will prevent or effect your cruise. From the track right now it is to go to the Gulf area not the East coast side. Now you might have rougher seas and high waves but that is not too bad.

www.hurricanetrack.com is the site my DH's insurance company uses to track a storm.

Hope this helps.
