Hi All,

Don't get me wrong...I love disney...I've just had enough. We returned from our 12 day trip and with two teens and going many many times in the last few years, we are ready to try the "dark side". I think I'm sick of being herded like cattle.

So, I'm looking to all of you experts. We know we want to stay at the HRH and we will be going in the summer for 9 nights.

Should we stay at HRH for our whole trip....we will be going to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Wet and Wild, Busch Gardens, and DHS for one day.

Should we go for Club level or the deluxe queen room?

Where should I start my research?

Anything you want to tell me would be appreciated!

You wil LOVE,LOVE,LOVE the HRH!! It's our favorite
Right in the middle of all the action, close enough to walk back or catch a boat ride in the middle of the day for a nice swim then head back to the parks

The pool area is amazing! Underwater speakers so you can rock out while swimming, our DS5 was hilarious, kept going under to dance :lmao:

They have all kinds of activies for kids too, hula hooping contest
and they have "Dive In" movies at night
We love Disney too but cannot venture to Orlando without ending up our stay at Universal/IOA

To me, it feels like a slower pace than Disney, and you will fall in love with the
front of the line passes, truly spoils you :wizard:

I can not wait to go. I have heard so much about all of those parks and after so many disney only vacations...I'm looking forward to trying something new. I'm wondering if I need a car though.

Do you have teen girls or boys or both?Have teen girls i would go for the Portifino Bay.The bathroom at the Hardrock is very tiny. The walls at Hardrock was very thin also, heard the couple next to us swear at each other all night.Love the pool at hardrock but portifino has a nice pool with slide too.

It might be fun to switch hotels during your stay. Each hotel has a very different feel.

Once your on-site you wont want too leave..:thumbsup2 So a car is optional unless you want to see something else while your in Orlando. But there is allways Mears shcuttle busses or town car service from what I heard is pretty resonably priced!!

Universal is Disneys best kept secret...
