Hi
I've been thinking( It still hurts :) )
I love reading everyones reports as they either, get me in the mood for my next trip, remind me of something we have done previously or give me ideas to add to our to do list.

The day I always like to read the most is Day 1, all the excitement and anticipation of the holiday with a few nerves about the flight, will you make it to the airport on time, and a few that worry about the take offs and landings.
I love the way it all comes through as I'm reading it.:goodvibes

I was wondering if you had a favourite day/ park to read about and any particular reports you would highlight as being well worth a read?

I like reading the ones with lots of piccies :)

Me too -especially of food!!

I really like reading day 1 too.

The only problem I find on the UK trip reports is its often difficult to find all the days as they are posted as seperate threads :upsidedow

:rotfl2: now i prefer that to the ones that are all in one thread ! its easier to see what ive read.

I love reading trip reports too, especially the journey day. I'm very naughty though and don't often leave a comment.

I don't like reading pre-trip reports much especially if they've been written months before the holiday but I do read them if there is a trip report to accompany them.

I prefer separate days in separate threads as I can't be bothered to scroll through to find each day.

I always read, and sometimes rarely comment which is naughty really..:guilty:

I love the Journey day, loads of piccies and Live trip reports are great too as you feel you are there with them.:thumbsup2

Food piccies are a nightmare :rotfl:I gain weight just looking.;)

I must admit , if I'm catching up on a report I tend to only post on the latest day posted unless I have any questions to ask.

I tend to read the DCL trip reports and the trip reports from people that I know. There are so many WDW trip reports that it is getting a it much.

I recently re-read the trip reports that I did last year to get myself in the mood for the next holiday.

I love reading trip reports and would sit reading them all day if time allowed it!
I particularly love DCL trip reports. I also like pre-trip reports for cruise planning. I also prefer them all on one thread - I lose track with separate days. It's easier when people but the page number of the update in the title.
I also really like photos in trip reports which capture the atmosphere and create a visual diary of the day.

I read all the UK trip reports and like to leave a comment as a lot of people put a lot of effort into writing the report, posting the pics and giving good advice all round.
I also love seeing the pics as I think they make it feel more like a proper trip report.
Posting each day as a seperate thread also makes it easier to follow and I love the ones that have lots of emotion attached to them - be it humour, sadness or excitement.

One of the best rip reports I have ever read was the one from raph_b - especially on the days leading up to his propsal. Very well written

I'm another one who likes each day on a different thread.

I like reading reports with lot's of photos, and one's that do different things to me.

On other forums I have always posted a different thread for each day. On here I prefer to do everything in one thread as this allows me to just put a link in my signature.

I love reading TR's and PTR's :).... I also perfer it when all the TR is in one big thread i find it much easier to get through.

I too enjoy reading trip reports and always leave a comment to show some appreciation that that person has taken the time to write and upload photos. They have provided me with entertainment and it is only write to say 'thanks'.

I prefer the one day one report approach though the all in one bundle is easier to find and easier for the writer to update to.

I like seeing photos of the people on the report as it makes it all come to life more.

I'm a separate threads fan, though if links to posts the 'author' has made are in the first post then that works for me too :goodvibes
I don't like to 'read and run' so I do tend to comment, even if just to say i'm reading :)
I quite like PTRs, as long as there is actually a trip report afterward... I know the person doesn't *have* to and I do understand that writing TRs can be time consuming but there have been some really good day 1 and 2s i've read in the past that have never been finished which is a shame. I've completed 3 so far and though I got a bit fed up with them at times i'm glad I wrote them now, they're great 'souvenirs'

I agree. I like to read back on mine and remember the times we had.
I am even reading our PTR to get me even more excited about our October trip :thumbsup2

being honest I don't read all trip reports I tend to read them for researching my own holidays if they are simillar to mine or its a trip I would like to do in the future

I tend to avoid the ones with no pictures and I'm also a new day/new thread fan, although if people who post in one thread update the title when they post a new day that isn't so bad - if they don't it can be hard to know if it has been updated or not.

What do people think of the way I do it, which is to post in separate threads but post a link to the following day's report at the end of each day?
