There are many threads on people getting bed bugs, cleaness of the rooms, stomach flu, germs, etc. Just makes me think I am so glad that I have my own TT to sleep in that I know who has slept in it. I have stayed in many of the disney resorts before nad would again, but it feels good to come back to my own mobile, portable, traveling mini house on wheels. And the best thing, I can have all the toasters, waffle makers, crockpots, etc. that I want.

I was reading those posts too and like you I am so very happy to have my own "home" when vacationing. Just got back from a trip to the Smokey Mtns and just loved being able to have MY stuff (and my kittens).

It just makes me happier that I have my own "home away from home" We don't want for a thing! We don't have to worry about how we are going to get all of our stuff to or home! I bring as much clothes as I want!

We are so lucky!

I like everyone else am so extremely glad to have my " own place ", we just got back from having to stay overnite in a hotel ( due to our truck, being fixed ) and if I were to have you guess what we found in our bed, you never would....bacon...are you beleiving that, go figure...how, why...what...oh my goodness, never again ( hopefully ).

LOL my DW loves to camp and my idea of camping is roomservice and AC. She just bought a tent trailer for her and the kids to go camping in the summer months I refuse to join them on camping trips. it is going to be all I can do to drag my butt to FW in 07 when we are to camp the first week before moving to SSR and my 2 bedroom home for the last part of the trip ugh this camping thing is going to kill me. Give me bedbugs give me bacon in the bed whatever just give me a hotel room that is all I ask for LOL. I don't want to see peoples dogs runnign around the campground I don't want any of that I am not a dog or cat person I love other people just not pets and all that they bring along with them I want my shower and toilet in my room with me and not a porta potty or comfort station with showers I want a vanity and cupboards in teh bathroom that I can actually put things in and yes I am a guy so don't even ask LOL. Can you tell I really don't like to camp at all regardless if it is at Disney or not.

Not trying to sound rude or that camping is the eway to go for everyone it's just my family's way.

Thank goodness not everyone is into camping/RVing...can you imagine how much more difficult it would be to get a site????

No offence take my wife looked at some really nice trailers the only way I will actually go that route is if we get a motorhome and I won't settle on any I want A class or nothing so we aren't getting one I can't justify spending more than my house on an RV LOL. I want concrete walls and all that goes along with it when I go away on holidays LOL... I guess this is why I bought into DVC so I could stay whenever I wanted wherever I wanted I can even use my points to book prefered sites for my DW at FW.
