Hannah got her flu shot today but since she is under 8 she has to get another one in a month. She did well too I was surprised, didn't cry. I felt it more then her I think. I hated being in the room when they got there shots when they were babies.

Took my sons winter coat in for the second time to get fixed.
First it was the hood that cost me $15. and now he ripped the side seam from under the arm to the bottom of the coat another $10.

Guess I couldn't buy another coat for that but boy I am not pleased. I couldn't even wash it because I was scared the stuffing would be in my washer if I did.

He is just lucky it was 9 C today, That's about 50 degrees there. And yes that is nice for here darn near spring weather. Should be -1 .

On the plus side.

I found a efficiency hotel on Singer Island, Florida! We LOVE Singer Island. But the Condos are only for rent on a monthly basis and there are only 2 hotels. Or so I thought! I found another one! We're still undecided about going there or rent DVC and going to Vero Beach. We have to take a year off of Disney. I'm not sure why. But Chad said so. So instead were going to the beach for a week. The other coast. Cuz the Gulf just blows. But I'm scared of renting DVC. I keep checking out the boards. But it seems like it's just a place for outsiders to rent/trade now. No one has more than a few posts to their name and I'm not sure I wanna rent from a newbie. Anyone have any renting experience here??? Vero looks like fun. What better beach resort than a DISNEY one.

Okay, well, I am shamelessly going to beg everyone to please check out my trip report. (link is in my sig.) You know how much it sucks to write a TR and have no one read it? (Thanks Backstage Gal!)

but i want to say......i think your trippies are soooo valuable!
first ,you live in florida ,so knowing the ropes, when it
come to doing disney...then , there are your little army,
troopers!... i can't express enough how much i appricated
you taking the time to include their feelings....they are so
special..heck , you have a regular "special interest group"..
an old fashioned family..doing disney...based on Walt's
orginal "intentions"...here's a secret...i "see" alot of my mother's
in your parneting skills..for you see i had & brothers...and
though we never went to wdw....our family vacations/outings
had alot of the same type of dyamincs(sp.) going on.....so for me,
your family expriences reminded me of some of my favorite
memories.....{ and i am the oldest on this site ]

& this is from your previous trip...so you can bet i'll
{cant wait}..to check yours out! and..gratful you alerted us!

* maybe i am over the top..but this is me!..iam too old to
be making up or wasting time....nor I AM easily fooled. besides
my work, i went into the community...and put together a soap box
derby for our community..from scratched ...it cost $ 15,000
per year...just to run...0ur 7th year is next year...all i do is read
one's trip and used our experimces ...to see where we all are
crossing paths.while we never met..you& your family are the
type of people..we always hope to meet at wdw...cos it has
given us some our most wonderful memories..people! including
guests...are the keepers of walt 's memory...i happened to believe
it something very special..& it 's always exciting to read those
doing disney this way! sooo please don't ever stop!



..got to go to work...so i hope there are not tooo

I have to say my DD has been playing with Baby Alive all afternoon. She is so cute. She was trying to get it to sleep. She rocked it back and forth gave it hugs. Then she laid it down and ran upstairs. What did she get, a musical moblie from her new crib/bed thing. She started the music and keep saying sh...wrapped the doll up in a blanket... it was so cute. She actually thought that the music put the doll to sleep. Creepy baby is actually growing on me. She doesn't look so creepy anymore.

Thanks Wheat Thins. It is hard to keep this thread on page one these days. You would see my pluto on a whole page if I did. Sad really. Happy New Year to you too. Don't be a stranger. Alot of drive bys these days. We take what we can get I guess.

I havent' been to Busch Gardens in long time. Grade 6 to be exact. All I can remember is Ladies in beautiful southern belle dress all over the place in the gardens. We went there, the family we were traveling with went to Disney. It was March Break and there was no way my Dad was going anywhere near the place.

hello PEEPS......all is almost ....well pretty near good here in Maine.....MIL is doing much better today but they have not let her walk yet....she can stand next to her bed and that is as far as her 02 line goes....She has had alot of antibiotics in her and she is coughing still pretty good........we went to the HOME to see the first floor room she is going to have. The nurse thought she would be better off down there so she would not have to walk as far......her pulmonary fibrosis is getting the best of her and she can not walk far. SOOOo if she cant walk they would have to let her go to a nursing home and that would do her in ......I know her...so the people there will move ALL her stuff down to the new room that is a wee bit smaller .....and the closet is only one closet vs the huge one she had upstairs.....she has way to much stuff.......I mean clothes that she moved there with that still have tags on them and she started to hem them three years ago.
My mom went to the wound center again today and she is in alot of pain.......this cellulitis is very painful.......she is like 4 feet 7 tall and she used to be five foot two......she is down to the 70 lb mark......and she eats like a piglet.....but her legs are going to do her in.......I feel bad......makes me sad to see the two mothers going down hill so fast.....
I thank you all for letting me type this (although if I were you I would not read it.....read happy things like the baby alive doll that could spook a spook......yah that....that makes me smile.....
NOW ABOUT FLORIDA HAVING BUGS.......maybe I will have to rethink this again......plus almost stepping on that legless lizard aka as a snake to Maine people.......YUCKY
