Morning All!!!

Happy New Years Eve:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I am staying home tonight and cleaning out the fridge and pantry of anything that can still be edible and eating it all. Then I am moving to the cookie/candy jars and seeing how much sugar is required for a sugar coma popcorn::

Will I ever be glad when Tuesday comes and everyone goes back to work and school and I can get caught up on my reading ;)

Have a great NY and be safe. :woohoo:

Wonder what good times Moo is having in the world? :cool1:

You know the drill - take what you need

:surfweb: :rotfl2: popcorn:: :rolleyes1 :grouphug: :artist: :moped: :smokin: :stir:

and do this tonight
:rockband: :love1: party: :dancer:

and of course :dance3: :dance3:

Morning all, well it is almost afternoon again.

I love having to go nowhere, can sleep in. Well have to get up and give Hannah breakfeast and turn on 12 Dancing Princess again. But then I can go back to bed. Even Nicholas slept in until 10 today.

Have no plans for the evening, maybe go to blockbusters for some movies. The kids want hor doerves tonight like Grandma's on Christmas eve. That is partying to them I guess. :rotfl2:

So does anyone have plans on going out? We haven't done that since the kids were born 9 years ago. Sometimes we don't even make until 12 oclock now that is sad.

Well off to blockbusters I think, probably nothing left...

MSO Everyone (insert sun here) - miss my smilies.

Over the last couple of years we have forgone the traditional NY's Eve parties and have stayed at home with videos and grilled out. Too many cops and drunks out for our liking these days (boy does that sound old I"m only 32) sheesh.

Anyways this year that is not to be. A friend of mine's daughter had the forsight to plan an evening wedding on NY's Eve :confused3  so in order not to be skinned alive by my friend we will be attending ;)

Personally I'd rather stay home even if it meant doing :laundy: but we are going.

WISHing everyone a happy and safe New Year's!

Oh Bonnie........I did good on the first one and then blew the second one.....geesh.....

We are staying home tonight.....we have gone out to neighbors in the past but all this perpetual Christmas Parties that have gone on.....we are ready for the poop sack......Hubby has been home since the 21st of December and he goes back on Tuesday too.....My house today is almost back to normal.....some of the dreaded silver stuff is still around the house from the dang garland......I asked hubby to toss it but he likes it......Oh well......the tree is back in the closet and the Christmas stuff is in their boxes and away too....Now that candy on the entertainment center is still looking at me......I looked at the carb content and I can have three of the lindts white chocolate truffles and it would equal one choice........YAH I could do that or a sliver of the cheesecake with blueberry topping.......I am still in my housecoat and hubby is in his jogging pants too.....but I guess if I want to get my act together .....shower is on the agenda.....
Again my new friends
Happy New Year to you all

Happy Sunday, everyone!

We saw the Lion King show yesterday, fabulous!! Great music, great singing, great costumes, great scene changes, and some jokes in between.
Really worth seeing. However, it was 2 hours 50 minutes long.
Pumba, I couldn't help think of you, the Pumbaa costume was really adorable, with a big face and the rear end was made of metal chain with little legs dangling, LOL, too funny. I'll have to see if I can find a picture online. OK, found one, but it is not very good. See the bottom picture.

We are staying home again tonight, haven't gone out for years. I will probably ring in the new year by myself. DH is a landscaping manager in one of the Parks and has to wake up at 2:30 am to go to work and try to fix the damage that no doubt will be done tonight to any plants remotely accessible from a walk-way.

I'll toast to a Happy New Year for us all, and think of all my new internet friends I met this year. It has been a pleasure!

Bonnie, I failed #1 and #5. That means I got 3 right and can live another year on my own, or am I too far gone??? :rotfl2:

that is some awesome show.......Hubby and I love Lion King and that is why we picked Pumba with one "A" for my login.....he was Timon for a bit but when we go hunting he is Mufasa and our granddaughter is Little Red cause she has red hair.....
I was looking at all the parts and the merchandise too ......this had to been really good.
Thanks for showing me too

Nah....we're all losers! :rotfl:

Pumba and Marita, I would LOVE to see the Lion King show!! I also want to see Wicked!

Bonnie is that what you do to your poor kindergarden kids too. Trick them. Actually I got a few right.

Marita-- That looks like an awesome show. Is the weather good for Moo?

Minnie-- You are only 32... boy I feel old. We went to a wedding years ago on New Years Eve too. The dresses and everything were done in Christmas colours. Hope you have a great time and stay safe. You are right about the drunk drivers.

Pumba -- I will be doing all that tomorrow. The tree is coming down and all the decorartions. We like to have the tree lite for New Years Eve. The outside lights will be on the last time tonight as well. Everything is closed tomorrow so that is a good time to clean up. Then the house looks empty until you get used to everything being gone.

Couldn't find any movies so we will watch what we have. We decided to go to the 4:30 show too. We have passes for the family. Thought we would see Santa Clause 3 before it is gone.

I was going to post a moving and heart felt New Year's Ode but alas and alack it seems that I am suffering from an advanced case of... uh... I don't know... what is the name of the thing where you don't remember... uh... um... well look at all the nice people.... how did you get here? have you seen my toast? I was going to put it in the toaster but... umm... uh...who are you? who am I?

NAB, weather should be great for Moo all week. mid-70's-80, sunny, partly cloudy, with only scattered showers.

I'm really tempted to call her to see how everything is so far, and if they got the request at POP, but I won't. I am afraid to catch her in the middle of some big show or ride at the most inopportune moment. LOL.

I'll catch up with her later this week and let you all know.

No word about Uma's runaway puppies over on the thin peeps thread yet, I hope she is doing ok.

Later ...

Happy New Year Everyone!!!!

Stay safe and may 2007 be a great year for all of you!!!!

Ly/Mi!

Happy New Year everyone. Hope everyone has a great year. How many of us have going to Disneyworld as our New Years resoltion?

Happy New Year's Eve, all! I've been crazy busy at work, and have to go in on Monday and Tuesday, both of which are holidays for me (new year's day then the day of mourning). But I wanted to pop in and say hi - and UMA, I so hope you find your puppies - that's such a scary thing. I'm praying they'll head home soon.

Pssst...

Hello, people.

Sid here. Remember me?

I'm back from a trip home for the holidays.

Have been lounging all day long.

Hope you (the collective you) had an amazing christmas.

And.

That you (the collective you) will have a rockin' New Years Eve.

Me?

I'm goin' to a basketball game.

Then playing it by ear (translation: sitting on my couch).

Good times.

Since I've no facility to post to each and every, um, post....

:goodvibes :lmao: :cool1: :cutie:  :scared1: popcorn::  :dance3: :rolleyes1 :laundy: :cheer2: :grouphug:   :cloud9: pirate: princess: :coffee: :hourglass :sad1: :flower3: :scared: :cool2:

I think that about covers it. All.

Mind the gap, all.
x, Sid

Last edited by sdy : Today at 07:09 PM. Reason: my new years resolution(s)? take a guess....

Hmm... that sounds like a fun game.... let's all post each other's new years resolutions

I'll go first! Here are my guesses as to what Sid will be resolving this evening.....

1. I resolve to eat healthier.... no more than 2 McRib sammiches per day. :teacher:
2. I resolve to spend more time honing my ninja skills of stealth, cunning, and deadly accuracy. While I am already a top ninja, a true ninja is not content with mere sucess but accepts the greater challenge of excellence.:cool2:
3. I resolve to overcome my addiction to British coffee. Maybe British tea would be a better choice for me :scratchin: Or maybe there are other British beverages out there I haven't even considered?
4. I resolve to live happily ever after. Today is the tomorrow you wished for yesterday.... hmm... a little :hippie: maybe I change that to I resolve to spend some time at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Hi Brandt and Sid, great to see you around again!

Happy New Year to you all!

And of course to Frickels!!!!!!!!!!!

And to all those other missing Vikings too!!
