Kimmar-- Looks like a fun book for kids. I will have to keep an eye out for it.

Live is not simple anymore. Wish someone would be mom for a while, Somedays I would like to change my name. I just say " no Mom here" :lmao:

...I'm not 100% sure, but I think that it is the 50th anniversary of this book....

yippee another day off tomorrow......a rug rat is going to be at her friends....YIPPEE.......so papa and I can have a tender moment ....YIPPEE get ready for Saturdays party without others around.......
and maybe pass the vacumm or the duster......

I am reading a good book too.....Finished Tyranasaura Canyon by Lincoln Child, and started yesterday....The Book of the Dead by Lincoln Child and Douglas Preston. I read all of their books and try to buy them when they come out.......If you want to read good ones .....the first ones by the two authors are so darn good and will get you addicted......

Megara is laying on the floor and attacking hubby.........they are doing a wrestling match......megara usually wins......she is such a brat....
Have a good night everyone

Pumba --you lucky girl another day off.

I am reading The Cell by Stephen King. Haven't had much time to read though. I like scary books. Stephen King hasn't been good lately but thought I would give him another shot. I like John Saul too. I know I am sicko:rotfl2: They are mostly about demon children.

I will check them out Pumba. I used to read a lot more before I discovered the Dis :rotfl2:

Maybe I will call it a night and read some of my book. If I don't fall a sleep first.

Night alll......

I am in packing hell-o tonight - having a lot of trouble deciding which clothes to take. The red Disney Crocs are definitely being packed!

Joe - Did you give the Disney Crocs to your wife? If so, I'm sure MommyPoppins will be proud of you! And me too!!!

And trying to finish the goody bag stuff. Need to go to the store to get a couple more little things.

We should hear tomorrow whether my friend can make the trip. I was so tempted to call her today, but I know she is probably really struggling with whether to go.

I'll try to post an update tomorrow.

  Two more sleeps!!

WOOHOO, MOO!!!

Two more sleeps. 79 degrees on Saturday!

Beach umbrella to you!

I hope everyone is having a great week. They must be out having fun, cause they sure aren't HERE!! :rotfl: I love talking to you guys and I hope everyone is doing well!

Today we are going into D.C. to see some sights. Hope you all have a great day!

Minnie- How frickin' (NOF) exciting!!!!! I'm happy for you/ green with jealousy!

Toots- Have fun in DC and Come play more!

Pumba and Nabby- Have you read the Janet Evanovich books starting with "One for the Money" (there are 12 now but more to come) they are the Stephanie Plum series. VERY funny and naughty and well done. Kind of a Mystery series but not really.

I didnt gain! Still 12 pounds. Feel gross after a weeks worth of carpy eating.
WISH you guys would come diet with us!

UMA-- I would come diet with you but the cruise would definetly set me back big time so I will wait until after the cruise. Then I am sure to need it.

Moo-- Time is really going fast. It seems like yesterday it was only 2 sleeps and now it is ony ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Marita-- I will take 79 anyday. It is freezing here today but the sun is shining. Makes it better for Moo to go when you know you are leaving the cold...brrrrr

Toots-- Enjoy your little trip, nice to be a teacher and have holidays too.

Hi to anyone else that comes by:) ( where is my little waving smilie)

Fly by - Wanted to tell Moo, my name twin, to have the most fantastic trip:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Make sure you see the Osborne Lights. They are incredible:banana:

Hope your friend gets to go:grouphug:

Hey everybody, is it time for the kids to go back to school?:3dglasses I have played everything at least 75 times, and it is exhausting. I need 4 days of this:coffee:

Thanks, Grammy/Cheryl!!! Loved your new trippie episode today. How cool to get a dream so early in your visit! I finished up our buttons and goody bags last night and printed up some Happy New Year window decorations. I'll be sure to see the Osbourne lights. Haven't been to Disney around the holidays since '98, so it will be fun to see the decorations too.

Hope you get back into your normal routine soon!

I still haven't heard from my friend about whether she is able to go. I'll post later with the verdict.

I'm at home again today still nursing my cold, but at least it is giving me a chance to finish my packing! The extended weather forecast is looking a little better today than it did a few days ago, so I'm putting in a couple more short-sleeved shirts and hoping I get a chance to wear them :cloud9: (Where is the sun smilie???)

It is still looking like there may be some rain. If I need a poncho while I'm down there, I'll buy a Mickey one.

My dog Teddy sees that my suitcase is out and clothes are going into it, so he is moping. Too bad there's no way of letting him know that he gets to stay home with "Pa" and doesn't have to go to the kennel!

Thanks, Minnie! I think I'll manage to have a great time somehow.

:dance3:

After all, a bad day at Disney is better than a great day anywhere else!!!

ETA: WOO HOO - My friend just called and she is going with with us after all!!!!!!!

Moo I'm glad your friend is coming along. You have worked so hard on getting this trip together. Do you all leave from the same airport?

I know you going to have a great trip. I'm with Grammy you have to see the Osborne lights they are so cool. We say them last year with all the other Christmas decorations.

Minnie-- How is the Wii? Did you play it yet ?

My routine is not back to normal yet....spent the day cleaning. I got to really clean under the kitchen sink, we sprang a leak under the sink. Everything was wet and soggy. It really needed cleaning and I kept putting it off now it looks nice and clean. I have to teach the kids to hit the garbage can better and not throw it in and hope it gets in :sad2:

Hi everyone,

Took today off, but ended up working for a couple of hours anyway to make sure some quarter end stuff got done.

This afternoon I finally went to get my nails done, I was sooo behind! I can actually type normally now, LOL. Before that, I stopped at the store and picked up creams and lotions (to try to reverse the effects of aging, who am I kidding?) and some soup and smoked sausage for dinners for me. We still have a huge amount of ham and turkey left, as we do every year, but DH has total memory loss every year and has to get the biggest turkey to be found, else he might not have enough leftover for a sandwich. I bet we got 1/4 turkey and 1/2 a ham left, AGAIN!!! I swear I am going to take a picture this year of what we throw out and post it on the refridgerator next year, but I am afraid it still won't do any good! :confused3

Tomorrow we are going to a matinee of the Lion King at the local theater (touring company), that should be fun, and lunch before that. So I have to get my hair all done tonight, otherwise I wont make it time, LOL.

Moo, so happy your friend can make it after all! Remind me again when you are leaving and arriving, I will think of you!

TATA FOR NOW

Nab/Marita - Three of us are leaving from the same airport at 8:30 tomorrow morning. We'll be getting in around 3:00. One of my friends is flying down on Monday and the other lives in Florida and is driving, so we'll have wheels while we're at Disney in case we have issues with the bus service.

We're going to Downtown Disney to do some shopping our first night and having dinner at Raglan Road.

I can't wait!

Moo - That is awesome news :cool1:

Marita - Enjoy the show :thumbsup2

Nab - I got to play it for a short time Xmas morning with my DS. We were supposed to go over to DM's earlier this week but it didn't work out. Probably won't get another chance until next week  We did really enjoy it though especially the tennis which I haven't played in any form since High School many many moons ago. Tons of fun! Oh and the horse back portion of the Zelda game was cool to :thumbsup2
