Meet Merle. He went to Clown College, or university as they say overseas....

he was brought in by my youngest son's preschool teacher to celebrate the end of the school year. Her thought was to make the kids and parents laugh, and provide - a desensitzation excercise for preschoolers and parents who possess a latent fear of clowns. Jack and my attendence was mandatory....as you all know the depth of my anxiety regarding clowns, which reaches deep into my childhood during Halloween in my 5th year. I can still remember bobbing for apples, coming up for air, and being horrified by a giant white face with unnatural colors on it within 10 inches of me. The family story is I stuck my head back in the water, and then ran screaming from the room. Who knows if it is true, but I do remember the face and screaming and clinging to my father, still. And apparently I did not eat any halloween candy that night, so judge for yourself why Buggy following me around the DIS is disturbing, to put it mildly.

Here is the Emergence of Tickles....I don't know there is something about that name....I just want no physical contact of my child from him...no tickling..no. Now this just looks really scary to me, perhaps I am biased...

Tickles is taking shape....the children and parents are strangely fixated on the baby powder coming out of his nose....

Here he is, fully formed. Meet Tickles...Clown College Graduate. He did have a very cute personality once the makeup was on, and a really cute guffaw....

This is one poor unsuspecting good natured dad....he was up there dancing for like 15 minutes with that thing on his head. I kept thinking of Shakira's Hips Don't Lie....uh, no in this case they certainly don't....

And here is little Jack, Fully desensitized and not frightened of Tickles in the least bit....is that a good thing?

BTW... THE VAN IS WRECKED. THE WHITE ONE.

And... The General and I bought Lotus a little shirt. It was actually meant for a little tiny dog. It says "I hate cats" on it. Which induced drunken hysterics in the General yesterday and just regular ones in me.

Hi guys! I've missed being able to chime in...still unpacking boxes, entertaining the in-laws and partying. I partied a little too hard last night. The carpet installers came today at 8:00. I went to bed at 3:30...and I forgot to take my contacts out. Soooo, when I stumbled to the door, I could barely open my eyes b/c those suckers were glued to my tired old dried eyes. I opened the door and the guy's eyes bugged out and then he took a step back... I do believe I scared him with my, ummmm, beauty.

Since it would be impossible for me to go back and read what I have been missing, someone tell me if I have missed anything major!

ALL you people who are even half-way close to ATL and are thinking about going to the Kenny Chesney concert...I bought 4 concert tickets...and I unknowingly purchased 4 parking passes. I don't even need 1 parking pass. Anyhow, if you need a parking pass, I'm your go to girl.
